Regarding the inappropriate remarks made by Gao Weijia, a teaching assistant experimenter of our school, on Weibo, the school attached great importance to it and set up a working group at the first time to carry out investigation work. After investigation, it is believed that Gao Weijia's behavior seriously violated the professional ethics and code of conduct of teachers. The school decided to transfer Gao Weijia from her teaching post, stop all teaching activities, cancel her teaching qualifications, and give her administrative demerit punishment. The school has always adhered to "zero tolerance" for violations of teacher ethics and teacher style, and will take this as a lesson to further improve relevant mechanisms and strengthen the construction of teacher ethics and teacher style.
Previously, Qingdao University posted through the official Weibo: On the afternoon of December 11, some netizens posted on Weibo reflecting the faculty and staff of our school, Sina Weibo ID@ Gao Duck made inappropriate remarks on Weibo. After receiving the report, the school attached great importance to it and immediately set up a working group to start the investigation procedure. The school will deal with it according to the results of the investigation and in accordance with the rules and disciplines.
