After further examination, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).

The case has been centralized isolation and control before the onset of illness, the environmental sampling test results of the living and activity sites involved are negative, and the risk of community transmission is assessed by experts to be low.

The new asymptomatic infected people on the 16th are not related to the recently reported Omilon infected people.

Chen Bin, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, said at the press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic on the 16th that as of 12:00 on December 16, 276 people had been screened and closely contacted, and health management measures had been implemented, of which 222 people had been centrally isolated, and the rest had been controlled and transferred. There were 188 people in the screening round, of which 164 were in centralized isolation, and the others were controlled and awaited transit. The nucleic acid test results of the above personnel are negative.
