Cloud digital intelligence technology has become an important technical cornerstone to support digital transformation, and promotes the "agile innovation and iterative innovation" of digital transformation. So, what are the new hot spots in the field of cloud computing? What does the intensive introduction of laws and regulations such as the Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law mean for the development of the industry? First, the new hot spot in the field of cloud computing?
The global cloud computing market size in 2020 is 208.3 billion US dollars, with a growth rate of 13%. In the same period, the scale of China's cloud computing market reached 209 billion yuan, with a growth rate of up to 57%, and the growth rate was very strong. Cloud computing is nurturing qualitative changes under the appearance of quantitative change, from the 1.0 era of cloud computing to the 2.0 era, one of the hot spots is cloud native. Cloud native, tailored to the characteristics of the cloud, represents a new cloud-using model, a new set of cloud computing technologies, and even new IT management concepts.
Second, with the intensive introduction of laws and regulations such as the Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, what does it mean for the development of the industry?
Massive data is one of the outstanding advantages of our country's development of the digital economy. However, the development of data value, if not regulated, may contain security risks and hinder development. Only by pursuing advantages and avoiding disadvantages and standardizing development can we go steady and far-reaching. The Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, which were promulgated this year, have established a basic legal system for data governance and delineated the bottom line red line in the development and utilization of data, marking that the implementation of the national data strategy has entered a new stage. At the same time, the introduction of these legal systems has also created new opportunities for industrial development, such as privacy computing, trusted AI, data security and other technologies have become hot spots this year.
Third, what are the characteristics of the development of artificial intelligence this year?
In recent years, a new generation of artificial intelligence technology has advanced by leaps and bounds, with face recognition, voice question-answering, machine translation, autonomous driving, and more and more artificial intelligence applications appearing around us. Regarding the current development characteristics of artificial intelligence, we can observe it from three dimensions. First, performance, AI companies continue to enhance computing power, expand the scale of the model, increase the data set, to pursue the ultimate performance, the performance of the algorithm is getting better and better. The second is engineering, AI to put into the production environment to take root, the need for AI development platform, tool chain and methodology support, so that AI from academic to engineering. The development of AI needs to be people-oriented, can not hurt people's interests, can not undermine fairness and justice, to continuously enhance explainability, the development of trusted AI gradually becomes a consensus.
Fourth, the development of cloud digital intelligence is inseparable from the support of infrastructure such as data centers and networks, so what are the new trends in these infrastructures?
Computing power is the foundation of the digital economy era, and the computing power infrastructure represented by data centers needs to provide support for "cloud use of data to empower intelligence". From the national level, actively implement the "East Number West Calculation" project, and coordinate the construction of the national integrated big data center. From the enterprise level, operators are also actively promoting the construction of computing power networks, trying to integrate networks and computing power into a unified technical system, carrying out flexible scheduling, and building a new type of information and communication infrastructure that integrates computing and networking.
