At this time, although the Qing court had long been replaced by the Republic of China government, the influence of the Qing court had always existed thanks to the preferential treatment of the Qing royal family signed with the Qing court during the Xinhai Revolution. As for the act of stealing treasures, as the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty and the representative of the Manchus, Puyi was furious after hearing that the ancestral tomb had been stolen, and even threatened to avenge this and punish Sun Dianying.
Sun Dianying was born into poverty. When he was young, his father was killed by the flag people, and at a young age, he could only rely on his mother for his life. His flamboyant personality and often associated with the city's rogues also easily allowed him to have a corner in the turbulent situation at the end of the Qing Dynasty. He was not a good man, but he was a man of worldly training, and it was precisely because of this that he first became the leader of the temple taoist society, and while selling opium, he could also make friends with villains, military and police officials, and he could transform from a bandit into a national revolutionary army, allowing the city to change the banner of the king, and he did not move. He successively defected to Yukun, Ye Quanbu, Zhang Zongchang, Chiang Kai-shek and others, and his position was not reduced but promoted, and in 1928, he was already the commander of the Twelfth Army of the Sixth Army.
It was also in the spring of this year that he took advantage of the fact that he was ordered to suppress the bandit Ma Futian, he led his troops to garrison the vicinity of the Qing Dongling Tombs, and he coveted the royal treasures in the Qing Dongling Tombs, so in the name of military exercises, he set the vicinity of the Qing Dongling Tombs as a forbidden area, and on the pretext of laying mines, expelled the original Qing Tomb guards from the Qing Tombs; in order to prepare vehicles for transportation, he personally wrote a letter to the Zunhua government and recruited vehicles.
Under strict control, there were only Sun Dianying and the Twelve Armies under his leadership in the vast Qing Tombs. This group of military bandits began to excavate, and as far as the Qing Tombs were concerned, there were many imperial tombs buried, but it was rumored that there were countless rare treasures in Cixi's tombs, and the treasures in yuling, which was the last witness of the Prosperous Era of Kangqian, were naturally not much.
In the spirit of profit, although they have no archaeological skills, they have explosives. Under the opening of the way of the explosives, Cixi's Dingdongling and Qianlong's Yuling were also smoothly opened.
And when they saw the magnificent jewelry and treasures, this group of military bandits went crazy and began to plunder. In order to take out the Night Pearl from Cixi's mouth, he directly cut her mouth with a hook, and even raped her corpse. In the end, under the busyness of several days and nights, dozens of large cars returned with full loads.
There is no impermeable wall in the world, and at the same time when this matter was boiling over, Puyi even reported this case to Chiang Kai-shek, the nationalist government at the time, and demanded severe punishment for Sun Dianying's theft and excavation. Just when the momentum of condemnation is intensifying, then as the initiator of the tomb robbery, what is the final outcome of Sun Dianying?
It can be clearly said that Sun Dianying was not only not punished, but also reused. The reason is also very simple, because of the situation.
In China at that time, although the Qing court had been overthrown, the Republic of China government had also been established. However, the Qing court was not willing to withdraw from the stage of history, this group of Manchu nobles who signed the "Preferential Conditions for the Qing Imperial Family" by relying on the Xinhai Revolution not only needed a large amount of financial expenditure every year, but also had a restoration move, puyi's move at the time of zhang xun's restoration of the army was proof; as an expired dynasty living in the Forbidden City, Puyi also stole cultural relics than Sun Dianying, so the anti-Manchu sentiment in the people was deeply rooted.
At this time, Sun Dianying also said that he was a descendant of the great general Sun Chengzong at the end of the Ming Dynasty, so that when his ancestors were killed, the revenge of his father's killing also became a feud, and he was not happy.

Such a big case was indeed under the sophistry and dots of Sun Dianying, so that Sun Dianying landed safely, and then he turned to Zhang Xueliang and Wang Jingwei, until in 1947, when he liberated Tangyin, he was captured and died of illness soon after.
