In order to standardize and guide the work of liquor production license and strengthen the quality and safety supervision of liquor, the State Administration for Market Regulation organized the drafting of the "Detailed Rules for the Review of Liquor Production License (Draft for Comments)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft for Comments"), which began to solicit comments from the public today (15th).

The Draft for Comments is divided into eight chapters with a total of 51 articles. For the label identification management system, the draft for comments mentions: in accordance with food safety laws and regulations and standard specifications, strictly regulate the labeling of liquor, true and accurate labeling, and must not deceive and mislead consumers. Product implementation standards must not be falsely labeled, solid-liquid liquor and liquid liquor must not be passed off as solid-state liquor, and where product standards require labeling of solid-state liquor, solid-liquid liquor, liquid liquor and other product category requirements, they shall comply with the corresponding provisions. Mandatory labeling contents such as ingredient lists shall not be falsely marked, and the liquid liquor and solid-liquid liquor used for edible alcohol should be marked with edible alcohol, and the raw materials for brewing edible alcohol should not be marked; all kinds of ingredients should be sorted one by one in the order of decreasing amounts added. Enterprises producing vintage wine should establish quality and safety standards for vintage wine, and vintage wine labels should truthfully mark the true vintage and proportion of the various base wines used. Liquor labels shall not be marked with words such as "special supply", "special supply", "special use", "special demand", etc.
