Shanghai writers also responded to the requirements of the times with excellent literary achievements, and in the past five years, the Shanghai Writers Association has organized writers to focus on writing Shanghai red culture, Shanghai school culture and Jiangnan culture. The creation of red themes has been systematically planned and promoted, and it has borne fruit: the "red starting point" documentary literary creation project deployed to welcome the centenary of the founding of the party has launched the first series in the spring of 2020, providing a vivid reading for the study and education of party history. In addition, the theme practice activity of "going deep into life and taking root in the people" has continued to advance among Shanghai writers, which has led to the creation of realistic themes, especially the creation of new practices focusing on Shanghai's reform and opening up and innovative development.

Shanghai Writers Association "Red Starting Point" Documentary Literary Creation Seminar

Wang Wei: The times have given literary and art workers a new mission and responsibility

(Secretary of the Party Group of Shanghai Writers Association)

General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, standing at a new historical starting point, has guided the way forward and clarified the fundamental compliance for the prosperity of literary and artistic creation in the new era and the development of socialist literary and artistic undertakings. What makes people feel most deeply is that it is emphasized that we must fully understand the new historical orientation of the development of literary and artistic undertakings, and use literary and artistic creation to depict the magnificent atmosphere of the new era and new journey; and clearly adhere to the people's stand and adhere to the people-centered orientation, which must be embodied in the writing of the people's epic. The general secretary also asked literary and art workers to keep up with the times, create a new realm of literature and art, and use excellent creative achievements to show China's new image, which fully demonstrates the new mission and responsibility entrusted by the times to literary and artistic work, which is very in line with our reality, and allows us to find a new focus of work in a clear path. The proposal to achieve its own value in the pursuit of both virtue and art reflects the general secretary's ardent expectations for the vast number of literary and art workers. In the final analysis, excellent literary and artistic works and vigorous literary and artistic undertakings are created by literary and artistic workers with lofty moral cultivation and outstanding artistic ability. The general secretary stressed the need to give play to organizational advantages, innovate the organizational system, and put forward new propositions for the in-depth work of the literary association and the writers' association in the new era; we must lead, unite, and serve the vast number of writers and literary workers well, constantly prosper in creation, and produce more excellent works, while more adapting to the needs of the new situation and new tasks, steadily expanding the fields and horizons of the work of the writers' association, and striving to answer these new propositions with effective practice.

The work report made by Secretary Zhang Hongsen on behalf of the whole committee is a good report with a very high standing, far-reaching intentions, broad vision, in-depth thinking, and suited to reality. The report makes a comprehensive summary of the work of the past five years, and concisely summarizes the achievements made by the Chinese literary undertaking under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply studying and implementing the general secretary's important expositions on literary and artistic work, echoing the call of the new era, echoing the new needs of the people, and focusing on promoting reform and innovation. The report explains the rich connotation of literature in the new era, involving writing new epics, meeting the needs of the people, striving to create peaks, expanding spatial forms, showing self-confidence, building a spiritual homeland, embodying human concern, and integrating into modern communication, each of which contains many specific tasks.

At the local level, we should deeply understand and meticulously respond to the important viewpoints and specific tasks put forward in the report in light of reality, systematically study and implement measures, and effectively promote the development of local literature and the integration of the work of the Writers Association into the overall situation of the whole country and achieve effective improvement.

Zheng Tiwu: Taking the people as the center to create new literature in the new era

(Dean and Translator, Institute of Literature, Shanghai University of Foreign Chinese)

General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech began with a clear meaning: if culture is prosperous, the country is prosperous, and if culture is strong, then the nation is strong. Li De shu ren, Bacon cast the soul, literature can not be absent, writing the times, telling good stories, literature has its unique advantages, irreplaceable, because history is always remembered in a figurative way, or in a literary way. To create a new literature worthy of the new era, one must learn from Chinese and foreign sages and seek transcendence in the anxiety of influence, and the other is to learn from folk literature and excavate images, motifs and even techniques from folk traditions. For the former, we have had successful experiences in Yan'an and in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, but there are ups and downs in understanding and implementation, and it is urgent to regain the literary and artistic spirit of Yan'an. Folk art is the place of the national spirit and the inexhaustible source of literary creation. People-centered literature should be literature that comes from the folk and goes to the folk. Only by becoming an integral part of folk literature can we achieve the epic of the new era that will be passed on to future generations.

Cai Jun: Go back to the millions of people

(Writer)

Compared with the cold autumn five years ago, the winter in Beijing today is warmer and more pleasant. Listening to General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech in the Great Hall of the People for the second time, I heard the voice of literature and the voice of our nation at the moment of great rejuvenation.

It is no secret that I have eaten the dividends of this great era in a down-to-earth manner. In the past five years, I have created a number of novels and novellas, and won the "Yu Dafu Novel Award Finalist Award", "Shanghai Literature Award" and "Liang Yusheng Literature Award", and my works have been translated into English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and other languages. This year, he published a pure literary work with Shanghai themes, "Spring Night". If I was born in another era, in other countries, do I have the opportunity to eat on words, or even change my destiny? I'm afraid it won't be easy.

Although writers should not be poor, writers who create good stories for the masses of the people deserve the rewards of the market, but is this why we keep typing the keyboard day and night? In the past few years, I have found that many writers and friends pay too much attention to the film and television of their works, and overly cater to the needs of the market, especially film and television capital. Or back to that sentence, why do we write? Today I heard General Secretary Xi say: "Literary and artistic works should not be stained with copper odor, and they should not be slaves to the market." ”

I think we are excited to read the classic masterpieces for the first time, to think of a good story for the first time to share with the people who care most, to see the writers we love for the first time and lament the wonder of fate, just like the countless predecessors and stars we have seen in the past few days at the Congress. Don't forget the original heart, don't forget the heart of a child who loves literature, don't forget the patriotic heart of Chinese, and don't forget that we all come from ordinary people, and we will eventually return to the original heart of thousands of people.

Fu Yuehui: Writing in the times, writing in the people

When I entered the Great Hall of the People this morning, I brought with me two pages of manuscript paper that I took from the Beijing Hotel yesterday, as well as a ballpoint pen. When listening to General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech, I made some notes. Two of the words frequently fall on the paper: one word is "the people" and the other word is "era".

"In contemporary China, the country and mountains are magnificent, the people are heroic, and the future is great. The times have provided an unprecedented stage for the prosperity and development of China's literature and art. "The vast number of literary and art workers must profoundly integrate the theme of the times of our national rejuvenation, and closely integrate the pursuit of life and artistic life with the future of the country, the destiny of the nation, and the aspirations of the people..." "The vast number of literary and art workers must keep up with the pace of the times, feel the pulse of art from the pulse of the times, and open up artistic creation to the great struggle of hundreds of millions of people..." There are many such words, and these words all point to the problems that many writers will face throughout their lives: how to deal with individual writing and the vast era in which they live. Relations between hundreds of millions of people.

Every writer has his own times. Writing is not a castle in the air, the writer is also a member of this era, whether it is life and writing, it is bound to be wrapped up in the times. But writing is a very personal thing. There is naturally a certain contradiction in this. Can we really see this era clearly on our own? Can we really understand the hearts of the people around us with our own strength? This is not an easy task, as Mao Dun was quoted in the general secretary's speech: "A person who makes a novel must not only have extensive life experience, but also have a trained mind that can analyze complex social phenomena." ”

At the end of the speech, the general secretary quoted a poem from Li Bai's youth, "Dapeng rises with the same wind one day and rises to ninety thousand miles." Just two sentences, it is enough to see the atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty. Then Li Bai traveled the world, Huai Cai did not meet, through the war, these things are also projected into his poems. Du Fu, who was eleven years younger than him, naturally experienced less time in the Tang Dynasty, but when he was young, he also wrote such a heroic sentence as "he will be at the top of the mountain, overlooking the mountains and small mountains", and when an era of drastic changes came to him, his poetry also changed greatly, and those silent Li people, those who survived, all left their nameless figures in his poems, which was really as Mr. Lu Xun said a thousand years later, "Endless distances, countless people, are related to me." ”

To write in a study, but also to write in the world, but also to write among the people. I think this is the only way for writing to go to the grand realm.

Mana: Writing about Shanghai in the new era

General Secretary Xi Jinping said: "Life is the people, the people are life", which has further strengthened my belief in writing for the people for many years, and more rationally and boldly strengthened the creative direction of the main theme of the Acura era.

Although my understanding of Shanghai is still very limited, as a reportage writer, in the face of the great development of Shanghai, I always have a desire to write about today's great Shanghai. I am passionate about writing Shanghai and writing about Shanghai in the new era. I will conscientiously study the General Secretary's important speech, firmly bear in mind the General Secretary's entrustment, integrate myself into Shanghai, into Shanghai's literary undertakings, into Shanghai's writers' friends and teachers, and with an open-minded and studious attitude, comprehensively, deeply, and with affection to observe, study, feel, and appreciate everything in Shanghai, especially the development style of Shanghai in the new era, the thousands of scenes of people's lives, and every detail of this great city.

Secretary Zhang Hongsen's report summed up the achievements of literary work in the past five years since the Ninth National Congress, and his report devoted a lot of space to expounding the eight points of "the mission, tasks and requirements of literature in the new era", which made me have a clearer understanding and understanding of the concepts, tasks, goals, and directions of literature in the new era. In the past ten years of literary creation, I have participated in the literary creation activities organized by the China Writers Association, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and the China Reportage Literature Society, and participated in interviews and writing on major nodes and important events such as the earthquake relief of the "5.12" earthquake, the "9.3" military parade, the construction of major national projects, the construction of new rural areas, the commemoration of revolutionary history, and the battle against poverty, and created some works. In this process, I also deeply realized that the significance and necessity of literature being centered on the people is not an empty phrase, it takes a writer's great efforts to complete it well, or only those who have sincere feelings for their people, China's contemporary society, and the great motherland can deeply understand the essential meaning of people-centeredness and the significance of literary creation. Secondly, if a writer wants to make a difference in this regard, he must only exert efforts and efforts through diligence and unremitting persistence and efforts, leading several aspects such as solid foot strength, eyesight, brain power, and pen strength, so that he can truly complete and realize the works he has written can "inspire the people' fighting spirit", encourage the people to follow the direction guided by the party, and strive to achieve the goal of struggle and create a better life.
