Recently, from BYD Semiconductor officials learned that its recent independent research and development based on the previous research and development results, successfully independently developed and mass-produced 1200V power device driver chip - BF1181, in December this year to achieve mass supply to major manufacturers.

It is understood that BF1181 is a magnetically isolated single-channel gate driver chip for driving 1200V power devices, compatible with 1200V IGBT and SiC. The product can be widely used in EV/HEV power modules, industrial motor control drives, industrial power supplies, solar inverters and other fields.

The BF1181 also integrates analog level detection for temperature or voltage detection and improves chip versatility, further simplifying system design such as size and cost.
