On August 14 FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China FAW Group Co., Ltd., announced that the Jiefang J7 Vehicle Intelligent Factory with a total investment of more than 1.1 billion yuan was completed and put into operation, which is also the most advanced high-end intelligent factory under the national automobile brand Jiefang.

According to reports, Jiefang J7 is the seventh generation of Jiefang brand trucks independently developed by China. The jiefang J7 vehicle intelligent factory completed this time has an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, mainly producing jiefang J7 series high-end heavy-duty truck products, the factory applies digital technologies such as industrial Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, etc., 100% of the equipment is networked and data collection, equipped with intelligent equipment such as intelligent chassis sorting, intelligent automatic navigation transport vehicle, intelligent tightening, intelligent refueling, etc., and the manufacturing technology ability is at the leading level in the industry.

While vigorously promoting intelligent manufacturing, Jiefang will also invest more than 30 billion yuan to accelerate the transformation and development of new energy vehicles. According to the plan, by 2025, 2030 and 2035, FAW Jiefang New Energy vehicle sales will strive to reach 120,000, 320,000 and 500,000 vehicles, accounting for 20%, 50% and 70% of the total sales respectively.
