How low-key is Zhang Ruoxuan? Through all kinds of historical materials, all that can be found is a sentence or two of an overview of his life and deeds, and there is no record other than that.
Everyone may suspect that it may not be Zhang Ruo's low profile, but that the historical data is missing. But this possibility is too low, because Zhang Ruoxuan was a famous scholar of the Tang Dynasty, and at that time, along with He Zhizhang, Zhang Xu, and Bao Rong, he was collectively known as the "Four Soldiers of Wuzhong", and the other three people except Zhang Ruoxuan were all prominent celebrities, and had a large number of unrestrained deeds recorded in the annals of history. Only Zhang Ruoxuan has no deeds recorded, so, against the background of these three celebrity friends, it is almost like a character who has never really existed.
Even if people don't show it, even his poems have been circulated very little, and there are only two poems in the Quan Tang Poems. However, it is these two poems that help Zhang Ruo's fame to linger through the ages. His life does not need pompous performance art, and he really relies on poetry to decide the victory or defeat.
One of the two poems, "Spring River Flower Moon Night", won the reputation of "single piece pressing all Tang".
That is to say, in the Era of the Tang Dynasty, which is famous for poetry, in the poetry works of the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Ruoxuan's "Spring River Flower Moon Night" is qualified to stand out from the crowd and rank first. Today, even entry-level poetry lovers will not be unfamiliar with the name Zhang Ruoxuan and the famous poems in "Spring River Flower Moon Night".
The title of "Spring River Flower Moon Night" is the name of the "Wusheng Song" of lefu, which was originally created by Chen Hou lord and is one of his beautiful songs, but unfortunately, the original word has long been lost.
Because Lord Chen Hou was born in the imperial family, received a truly aristocratic education, fortunately or unfortunately was cultivated a first-class artistic temperament, and the majestic vitality made him quickly immersed in the world of female color and music, and since then he has embraced the left and right, written poems and composed music, and lived a modern rock superstar. Chen Hou's two most famous creations, one is "Yushu Backyard Flower" and the other is "Spring River Flower Moon Night", which opens up the source of beautiful imagination for posterity.
Under the influence of Lord Chen Hou, the Sui Emperor also wrote two poems, "Spring River Flower Moon Night", which are quite short in length, of which the more outstanding one is:

Twilight does not move,
Spring flowers are in full bloom.
The flow waves will go to the moon,

Poetry critics often because of people's nonsense, because they dislike this faint last emperor who is no different from Chen Hou lord, and even criticize his "Spring River Flower Moon Night" is a short and empty bad poem.
In fact, to be fair, in these short twenty words, spring, river, flower, moon, and night are all written, the imagery is complicated but harmonious, the realm is also quite broad, and it is really a good sketch. In this poem, Zhang Ruoxuan compares the metabolism of the human world with the eternity of the bright moon, because the bright moon has witnessed all the vicissitudes of the world, birth, old age, illness and death, and when we look up at the bright moon and think of "this month once illuminated the ancients", and the ancients and the past have become obsolete, we suddenly feel that life is like a white colt passing through the gap, and in the cold moonlight we see our own smallness, and we can't help but be sad from it, and we can't help but be broken. The flowing water of the Yangtze River, flowing endlessly around us, reminds us that "the deceased is like a Sifu, not willing to give up day and night", what has passed away is not the river, but our history, today and the future, which is an endless and helpless sadness.
People are not bamboo, nor are they geese, they come to the world, they always want to leave a little mark on themselves in this world. The lowly leave their names on the thousand-year-old monuments "to visit here", and the nobles leave their names in the annals of history with brilliant poetry articles or moral deeds, although they are very different, but they also stem from the common nature in human genes. Zhang Ruoxuan has kept a low profile all his life, but this song "Spring River Flower Moon Night" has made his life stand on the top of the Tang Dynasty in a high profile.
Such a poem is already a very high-profile luxury for a person's life.
