Zhang Ruoxu, a child lost in history and poetry

Just like his name, Zhang Ruoxuan, his face blurred and his figure drifted through the Tang Dynasty, as if he were a false existence.

His years of life and death were marked with question marks. It is said that he worked as a petty officer named Yanzhou Bing Cao. There is no independent biography, and he follows behind the big coffee He Zhizhang, and is mentioned lightly, as if he is the little assistant who pulls the star trolley box he met at the airport.

If the question mark is removed from his death year, Du Fu was eight years old and was being praised as a "little able child" by his fellow villagers in Henan; Li Bai was nineteen years old and was practicing his sword in Shushan Mountain, and in another year or two, it would disturb the Tang Dynasty; and Wang Wei was exactly twenty years old, and his father and mother gave him a coming-of-age ceremony, and soon he would go to the capital to take the meritorious name.

His work was also pitiful, and he only left two poems in his lifetime, which was not enough for posterity to exist in the bank to eat interest—if he had descendants. Wang Wei, Li Bai, and Du Fu's bank safes each contained more than 400 to 1,000 poems. Although the Qianlong Emperor would laugh when he heard about it, no one paid any attention to him, and his more than 40,000 poems were at best inflationary banknotes.

What is even more tragic is that all kinds of poetry anthologies, special editions, miscellaneous collections, and encyclopedias of the entire Tang Dynasty do not accept his works, as if he were a person and his two poems never existed at all. Monks, Taoists, nuns, tricksters, and peddlers all lay in a variety of ways, each saying his own thing.

Zhang Ruoxu, a child lost in history and poetry

In such a tolerant era, how can there be no room for a poet who wrote "Spring River Flower Moon Night"?

Or, he is just a playful child, chasing the moon along the Yangtze River, chasing after him and losing himself. His family has many children, and they are all so excellent, his parents looked for a while, simply no longer care about him, as if they had never given birth to this child.

However, as long as people live, they will always leave traces, even if there is no "heavenly eye" in those years.

The first time they found him, people were surprised to find that he and his "Spring River Flower Moon Night" actually appeared in the Song Dynasty, in the "Lefu Poetry Collection" compiled by a man named Guo Maoqian.

It's like the supernatural event that people often talk about, a person suddenly disappears, and finally appears on the other side of the earth. Zhang Ruoxu seemed to have entered a "wormhole", which appeared in the Song Dynasty hundreds of years later. But at this time, no one had yet discovered his magic, and under the general theme of "Spring River Flower Moon Night", he became a small follower of the Sui Emperor.

Such a person with no sense of existence was finally discovered in the Ming Dynasty.

Hu Yingxuan said in "Shi Xue", Well, Zhang Ruoxuan wrote well, better than Liu Xiyi. Of course, the tone is also understated.

Why compare with Liu Xiyi? Because Liu Xiyi wrote two poems: "The flowers are similar every year, and the people are different from year to year." It was these two verses that brought him to the scourge of death—his uncle Song Zhiqing saw it and said, Son, give me these two sentences. Liu Xiyi firmly disagreed. So the two poems led to the murder of the nephew by the uncle. This tells us from the side how good these two poems are.

What would that better verse than Liu Xiyi look like—who on the riverbank first saw the moon? When did Jiang Yue shine at the beginning of the year? Life is infinite from generation to generation, and Jiang Yue is only similar every year. I don't know who Jiang Yue treats, but I see the Yangtze River sending water.

Don't talk to the Tang people about philosophy, just like don't talk to the Song people about meteorology. These few poems, which were praised by Wen Yiduo as having "cosmic consciousness", shocked posterity to the point of trembling. Oh my God, there are scenes and reasonableness, much richer than Liu Xiyi, Zhang Ruoxuan wrote out of ni?

Therefore, at the end of the Qing Dynasty, Wang Minyun was amazed and left an eight-word evaluation: The lonely article is absolutely for everyone.

So in the Republic of China, Wen Yiduo pushed Zhang Ruoxuan and his "Spring River Flower Moon Night" onto the tip of Tang poetry: poems in poetry, peaks in peaks; single pieces suppress all Tang...

Zhang Ruoxu, a child lost in history and poetry

That Yanzhou Bing Cao, a small follower among the poets of the Tang Dynasty, finally crossed over to modern times two thousand years later. He was like a child lost in history and poetry, and suddenly found his home.

He rubbed his eyes, as if he still didn't believe it was true—

Didn't I just follow a river and chase a moon?

I remember walking from the moonrise to the moon setting, from the beginning of spring to the end of spring, from Xiaoxiang to Jieshi.

I remember seeing the flower forest, satin, small building, flat boat, anvil, makeup mirror, fish dragon, goose array.

I remember feeling the detachment, the spring sorrow, the confusion, the excitement.

No one could answer him, but everyone was watching over him.
