Texas Chainsaw Killer
Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham, the production companies of Friday the 13th: The Game, announced on the 11th of this month that they will launch the asymmetric multiplayer horror game "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", based on the epoch-making film of the same name in 1974, which will correspond to PC and next-generation console platforms.
Ronnie Hobbs, creative director of Gun Interactive, said, "Don't hide it, The Patriarch's Texas Chainsaw Killer movie is probably my favorite horror film. It's unbelievable that I had the opportunity to delve into the world of this film series with the team at Gun Interactive and to work with Sumo Nottingham to make our vision come true. I can't wait to show you more about the game's progress."
Darren Campion, executive producer of Sumo Nottingham's Texas Chainsaw Massacre, said, "We're especially happy to finally be able to reveal what kind of game Sumo Nottingham is making. Koch Media will be the official publisher of the physical and digital editions of Texas Chainsaw Massacre in Asia.

Sumo Digital (literally translated as "Sumo Numbers") is a video game development studio based in Sheffield, UK, founded in 2003. The company was originally founded by 4 executives from Infinites Studios, and by 2020 the company had 750 employees. The studio is best known for sega's VR Tennis series and Sonic All-Star Racing series, as well as support for the Forza Horizon series, as well as porting for other games.
Earlier in 2003, Shefogrames Studios, a game company based in Sheffield, England, disbanded, and four members of its management, Carl Cavers, Paul Porter, Darren Mills and James North-Hearn, founded Sumo Digital in Sheffield to continue their gamemaking path. In November 2019, Sumo Group accepted a $30 million investment from Tencent, which will receive a 10% stake in Sumo Group. In July 2021, Sumo Group received an offer from Tencent to acquire it, announcing plans to acquire Sumo Group for US$1.27 billion through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sixjoy Hong Kong.
In January 2016, the studio opened its third studio in Nottingham, UK: Sumo Nottingham, which was run by Karl Hilton, former General Manager of Crytek UK.
