Kitchen management game While We Wait Here recently released a new trailer for the game's release on October 23.
"Doomsday Waiting" is a story-driven time management + psychological horror game about players waiting for the end of the world while entertaining the last customers, exchanging ideas and sharing warm food.
Waiting for Doom is designed to provoke players to think and propose discussions about death and the meaning of life. The theme of the trailer is all about questioning whether the protagonist has the right to make decisions that affect his own fate or the fate of others.
Few horror games have cooking as a selling point, and this style allows for a more creative narrative than the hunt mechanics of classic horror games. Doomsday Awaits isn't the first game from developer Bad Vices Games to combine cooking and horror, and before that there was the famous indie game Ravenous Devils.
"Doomsday Waits" is scheduled to release on October 23 on PC, PS, Xbox, and Switch, and is priced at $4.99 with discounts on launch day. The game is currently available for download as a demo version, so if you are interested, you can experience it.
