Editor's Note:

Henan is a major province of intangible cultural heritage resources, and the many intangible cultural heritages bred on both sides of the Yellow River are "living fossils" that show the yellow river culture. In June this year, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism officially launched the first National College Students Rural Revitalization Creativity Competition "Yellow River Intangible Cultural Heritage Lights Up Hometown Henan", through the creativity of college students to empower intangible cultural heritage and cultural upgrading, and explore a new path to revitalize intangible cultural heritage resources to help rural revitalization, which is also a specific measure to implement the strategy of integrating culture, tourism, culture and creativity proposed by the Eleventh Provincial Party Congress. We have selected some of the results of the competition, sorted out the experience of activating the development of intangible cultural heritage, and provided reference for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in the province.

Colourful textile threads, a wide variety of fabrics, creative coarse cloth stickers... On December 11, when the reporter walked into the "first-line weaving memory" textile workshop in Chongdugou Farming Folk Culture Village, he was deeply attracted by this fresh and elegant workshop.

Who would have imagined that a few months ago, it would have been an ordinary clothing store. "In June this year, after the launch of the first National College Students Rural Revitalization Creative Competition of 'Yellow River Intangible Cultural Heritage Lights Up Hometown Henan', the scenic spot included this poorly managed store in the competition space transformation and handed it over to the Huang Shuyue team of Ningbo University for implementation." Liu Haifeng, general manager of Luoyang Chongdugou Scenic Area, frankly said that he was very satisfied with the effect of space transformation.

The creative competition mentioned by Liu Haifeng is an active exploration of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism to find a combination of high-quality development of cultural tourism integration between the Yellow River Intangible Cultural Heritage and his hometown henan, hoping to create unique intangible cultural heritage theme attractions, homestays, farmhouses, specialty stores and other formats and spaces through the wisdom and creativity of college students, and transform the advantages of intangible cultural heritage resources into development advantages. Among them, "One-line Weaving Memories" is the first project to be completed in all 90 spaces of the event.

In the "one-line weaving memory" reporter saw that there are various looms and diy box weaving here, which can meet the experience needs of different tourists. Tourists can not only experience spinning and weaving, native cloth collage, but also wear Hanfu, tea clothes and other punch cards to take photos, and can also buy their favorite textile products, "take home" intangible cultural heritage skills, and truly realize "one-stop" consumption.

In order to create a space that is both creative and commercial, Huang Shuyue's team has spent a lot of thought. Huang Shuyue said that after preliminary research, it was learned that the provincial intangible cultural heritage project Daimei hand-woven fabric technology was formed in the specific area of the Yellow River Cultural Belt, which is natural and simple, with bright colors, which is very suitable for the thick and simple character of the people of the Central Plains and has a strong local atmosphere. Therefore, their team finally chose the Daimei hand-weaving technique as the theme of creating a space, setting up a display area, an experience area, a sales area, a punch card area, and ensuring that each area has a face value and connotation.

The efforts of Huang Shuyue's team have been recognized by everyone. In Liu Haifeng's view, in addition to the unique space design, the coarse cloth sticker cultural and creative products created by Huang Shuyue's team integrate the scenic spot into it, which meets the needs of young consumer groups and tourists. He hopes to continue to cooperate, and intends to hand over the spatial transformation of the scenic courtyard, stone mill, blacksmith shop and old cottage to this team.

Refreshing "a thread of weaving memories", Liu Haifeng has seen countless times inside and out, how to see how to like. He said that after the renovation of the space, the sales of intangible cultural heritage products have quality assurance, and at the same time, traditional textile skills have been inherited and a strong cultural atmosphere has been created. "Smell the sound of the machine again, tourists are busy weaving", he imagined that after the normal operation of the scenic spot, it would be a bustling scene.

Yu Jie, director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Division of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that these projects will form a demonstration effect at each competition site, lead the way from point to point, promote the excavation of intangible cultural heritage stories in the surrounding areas, build intangible cultural heritage spaces, activate intangible cultural heritage with creativity, and comprehensively help rural revitalization.
