Since the opening of the library in early April, many local people have come here every day to read.
"Now that we have this library, we can usually come here to read books, we can talk together, we can discuss the international situation, the party's policies now, and now the welfare of our masses in all aspects has also created a good cultural atmosphere." Villager Zhou Lixiong said.
It is reported that the county library Taoshui Town branch covers an area of more than 60 square meters, and there are more than 5,000 books of various types, covering children, agricultural breeding technology, culture and technology, history and law and other fields. After the library was built, the local township sage Zhou Daozai actively exerted his residual heat, took the initiative to sign up and asked to come here to volunteer as a librarian, and provided free borrowing services for the local people to read and return books.
"I'm a retired worker, working in this library without pay, volunteering. I am a party member, doing what I can for the community, and I have this responsibility to run this library for Taoshui. Zhou Daozai, the administrator of the Taoshui Town branch of the library, introduced.
It is reported that since the start of the construction project of the main branch library in 2018, youxian Library has built 105 library branches in towns and villages (communities) in the county, including 17 demonstration branches.
