There are two major miracles in the history of Urban Construction in China, one is Shenzhen, Guangdong, and the other is Longgang, Zhejiang. With the development of Longgang as the main line, "China Peasant City" comprehensively tells the real history of several small fishing villages growing into China's first peasant city. A group of ordinary farmers in Longgang, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, with the wisdom and diligence of the people, in just forty years, not only realized the dream of farmers to enter the city, but also created a miracle of peasants building a city.

Bai Ye, president of the Chinese Contemporary Literature Research Association, mentioned at the meeting that there are two points that impressed him most about "China Peasant City", one is to write about reform from the unique perspective of "peasants building a city", and the other is to create a group of very vivid characters. In the current history of reform, this work is irreplaceable.

The temperature of the work is expressed through the character's personality and mental journey, and the character description in the book is the most characteristic.

Yang Ping, vice president of the China Book Critics Association, stressed that "China Peasant City" has two major contributions, one is a strong historical one, and the other is a strong reality.
