From November to December 2021, the 12th Ethnic Folk Song and Dance Exhibition and Performance Activity of Yunnan Province, sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yunnan Province and the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, and undertaken by the Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, was held in the form of "online cloud exhibition and performance", and 86 works from all prefectures (cities) in the province participated in the exhibition. After the evaluation of the Award Committee, reviewed by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, a total of 5 inheritance awards, 10 gold awards, 12 silver awards, 18 bronze awards and 36 excellence awards were awarded.
Yunnan Provincial Ethnic Folk Song and Dance Exhibition and Performance is a high-standard, large-scale and widely influential provincial-level important cultural and artistic competition approved by the Provincial People's Government and jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission. This year, 6 programs in the Red River State won awards, namely 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, 1 bronze award and 1 excellence award. Mile City's a cappella mixed chorus "Gasbile" won the gold medal.
"Gasbile" is a non-cappella male and female mixed voice drama (festival) created and arranged by Mile City in order to do a good job in the protection of the national intangible cultural heritage projects "AXie Jumping Moon" and "Axie Xianji", with "Axie Jumping Moon" and "Axie Xianji" as cultural elements. The song expresses that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, through the implementation of projects such as poverty alleviation and national unity, the people in the frontier areas have lifted themselves out of poverty and become rich and entered a well-off society, lived a good life under the glory of the party, and danced happily and happily and sang.
