At present, the small musical "Never Trek", which is based on the "military ship" in the village of Rongchengyuan, has completed the establishment of the group and entered the rehearsal stage, and is expected to premiere at the end of March this year.
The "pro-army ship" in the village has entered its 63rd year. From 1960 to the present, the officers and men stationed on Sushan Island have changed stubble after stubble, and the "military support ship" has been updated from the initial 4-meter-long rocking sampan boat to the current 25-meter-long steel-hulled ship, the only constant is the friendship of the courtyard people, and the six captains have turned this friendship into responsibility in riding the wind and waves again and again.
Jointly created and performed by the Rongcheng City Cultural Center and the Rongcheng City Art Troupe, "Never Get Lost" is based on this true story, which will expound the most simple emotions of local fishermen in the form of musicals and show the deep friendship between the villagers and the officers and men of the People's Liberation Army stationed on the island. The play was selected for the 2021 "Provincial Stage Art Young Talents Creation Support Project" organized by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and a total of 10 projects in the province were selected, which is the first young talent creation project in the field of literary and artistic creation in Rongcheng City that has received provincial support.
