Painting and sculpture mirror each other, and young artists jointly "cheer for the Olympics"

"Cheering for the Olympics: One Flower, One World- Traveling Exhibition of Paintings by Young Painter Wu Shuang and Invitation Exhibition of Young Sculptors' Works" was recently unveiled at the Gongmei Building in Wangfujing, Beijing. The exhibition features 50 paintings carefully created by young painter Wu Shuang in recent years, as well as more than 20 sculptures by 12 young sculptors.

Wu Shuang, a post-80s painter, is now a special painter of the Youth Painting Institute of Li Kejian Painting Academy, and she uses the artistic language of freehand to create a series of paintings with thousands of flowers and full of youth. The theme of this exhibition is "One Flower, One World", where the colorful and unrestrained colors reflect the five Olympic rings, and the blossoming flower clusters symbolize unity and friendship. The "Blues" series of works such as "Singing Bird" and "Love of Water Flowers" exhibited in the exhibition show the painter's in-depth thinking on the modern transformation of traditional paper, pen, ink, color and water.

The exhibition also specially invited Geng Yanmin, Liu Song, Qi Hongyan, Li Jun, Wang Xinwei, Han Jinfeng, Fu Leilei, Yuan Chaochao, Liu Chao, Yang Haoqiang, Zhang Tianyi, Wang Xinzhu and other 12 young sculptors to participate in the exhibition, many works have participated in various important exhibitions across the country. The exhibition, organized by the Organizing Committee of Cheers for the Olympic Games and directed by the Federation of Chinese Literary and Art Circles, will last until December 31.
