China Quality News Network News According to the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation on December 10, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recently filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Effective December 10, 2021, recall some imported 2020-2021 Taycan series pure electric vehicles produced between June 18, 2020 and November 10, 2020, for a total of 19 vehicles.

Some vehicles covered by this recall may not meet the specified tightening requirements during the manufacturing process in the construction process of the control arm on the rear axle and the housing of the wheel bearing. Loose threaded connections may cause relative displacement of suspension components, and abnormal noise may occur when the vehicle is driving; if the threaded connection fails, it will lead to sudden driving instability, affect the handling of the vehicle, increase the risk of accidents in the vehicle, and there are safety hazards. Porsche will provide free inspections of the vehicles concerned, replacing the screws, bolts and tightening them to their original specifications for vehicles with threaded connections to the control arm on the rear axle that do not meet the required tightening requirements to ensure safe use.
