All this is to commemorate the Cantonese opera master Ma Shi Zeng, who has passed away for 51 years.
Time goes back to the 1950s. "In 1954, I watched Cantonese opera and acted better, and now the connoisseur Ma Shi has returned, and the level is higher." In 1956, when Premier Zhou Enlai attended the symposium of the Chinese Dramatists Association, he sincerely said such a remark, which was a high evaluation of the Cantonese opera master Ma Shi.
This year marks the 115th anniversary of Ma Shi Zeng's birth, and the Publicity Department of the Shunde District Party Committee (Shunde District Culture and Sports Bureau) and the Ronggui Subdistrict Office specially held the "Ma Pai Xiongfeng Opera Vertical and Horizontal - Ma Shi Zeng Opera Art Review Series Activities" to commemorate this Cantonese opera master born in Ronggui, Shunde. In the end, Ma Dingsheng, the son of Ma Shizeng, a Hong Kong military commentator and a member of the Chinese Modern Military History Society, sang a song "Step Moon Lyric" on the stage, which pushed the atmosphere of the scene to a climax.
