The Cantonese opera industry in Guangdong has inherited and carried forward a number of achievements in Cantonese opera. Recently, the "Ma HonghuaZhang" commemoration of Ma Hong's art series of activities was held in Guangzhou. Among them, the organizers launched 2 exhibitions, 2 sets of new books and 2 films, using rich forms to commemorate the Cantonese opera master Ma Shizeng and the Red Line Woman, and inherit and carry forward cantonese opera.

2020 marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Cantonese opera master Ma Shi Zeng, the 95th anniversary of the birth of Cantonese opera master Hongxinnu, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe founded by Hongxinnu, and the 5th anniversary of the opening of the former residence of Hongxinnu. Under the guidance of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, the "Ma Honghuazhang" series of activities to commemorate Ma Hong's art was co-organized by the Red Line Women's Art Center, Guangzhou Cantonese Opera And Guangdong Cantonese Opera Promotion Association, and co-organized by Guangdong Cantonese Opera, Guangdong Prosperity Cantonese Opera Foundation and Guangzhou Revitalization Cantonese Opera Foundation.
On December 27th, as the highlight of the series of activities, the "Red Line Women's Former Residence Cultural Salon" was held at the Red Line Women's Former Residence. Li Ziliu, former mayor of Guangzhou, Chen Jianhua, former director of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress, Tan Zhixiang, Wu Qianhao, Mao Xiaoyu, experts in Chinese opera studies from Beijing, a group of disciples of the Red Line Women, famous Cantonese opera performance artists Ou Kaiming, Li Junsheng, Su Chunmei, Guo Fengnu, etc., as well as leaders and guests from the cultural and artistic circles gathered in their former residences, in front of the osmanthus tree planted by the Red Line Woman herself, to witness the Red Line Women's Art Research Series "Ma Shi Zeng and the Red Line Woman" and "Cantonese Opera Master Ma Shi Zeng Legend", "Drama must not be spoken to people- Cantonese opera master Ma Shi Zeng Drama Life theme exhibition, "The Light of Cantonese Opera - The 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe" theme exhibition, sand painting propaganda film "Friendship Road No. 20", documentary "Generation Tianjiao - Red Line Girl" and documentary film publicity and other projects were launched.
The organizers said that although the authors of the new book could not come to the scene due to the impact of the epidemic, they conveyed the unswerving artistic spirit and unswerving patriotic feelings of the two art masters to the public through letters, and invited the old mayors Li Ziliu and Chen Jianhua to present books to the relevant units on their behalf. At the scene, the guests also expressed their infinite remembrance and reverence for the ancestors of Cantonese opera through salon exchanges, jointly discussed the artistic inheritance and development of the Ma Hong school, and provided suggestions for the prosperity and revitalization of the Cause of Cantonese Opera.

The Red Line Women's Art Project has yielded fruitful results
According to reports, at the end of 2015, initiated by the red line female family, chen Jianhua, then mayor of Guangzhou, approved the launch, and the red line women's art project was officially approved, with Li Ziliu as the general consultant of the red line women's art project and Chen Jianhua as the chief planner. This year is the final year of the Red Line Women's Art Project. Over the years, the Red Line Women's Art Center has actively carried out research, video, exhibitions and other aspects of the art project, and 14 sets of research books such as ten sets of humanistic art documentaries and documentary films such as "A Generation of Tianjiao - Red Line Woman", "People's Artist Red Line Female Commentary", "Red Line Female Chronology", "Ma Shi Zeng and Red Line Woman" and "Contemporary Lingnan Cultural Masters - Red Line Woman" edited by Shen Haixiong are all important achievements.

As an important part of the series of activities, the organizers held a special evening party of "Eternal Art" to commemorate Cantonese opera masters Ma Shizeng and Red Line Women at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou on the evening of December 26. On December 27th, the organizers held a sharing meeting with the creators of the documentary "A Generation of Tianjiao - Red Line Woman" at the Qinggong Cinema, and the main creative team shared how this character documentary with ten collectives was conceived and born.
It is understood that the relevant theme exhibitions and sand painting art films are exhibited and broadcast at the Red Line Women's Art Center and the Red Line Women's Former Residence respectively, and the audience can visit and feel the infinite charm of the two Cantonese opera art masters.

I. Exhibition "Drama Must Not Be Spoken to People - Cantonese Opera Master Ma Shi Zeng Drama Life"
This exhibition is specially planned to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Cantonese opera master Ma Shi Zeng. Ma Shi Zeng is a famous Cantonese opera master, Cantonese opera innovator, film performance artist, screenwriter and director. Looking back at the 64-year-old life of Ma Shi, he has experienced half a century of internal and external troubles with the country, and his life is flesh and blood connected with the journey of modern Cantonese opera. Ma Shizeng's life was bright and upright, patriotic and patriotic, and promoted the pace of Cantonese opera innovation and ideological emancipation. 2. The Light of Cantonese Opera - Exhibition of the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe
2020 is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe by Cantonese opera master Hongxinnu. In the face of various shocks, the Cantonese opera team appeared to be green and yellow, the phenomenon of talent disconnection, in 1990, the red line woman decided to set up a Cantonese opera troupe to cultivate young talents of Cantonese opera - Xiaohongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe, the red line woman poured her lifelong artistic achievements and experience to help, in order to cultivate the successor of the Cantonese opera cause to pay sincere feelings and wholehearted investment. In 1994, Xiaohongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe changed its name to Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe, bravely undertaking its mission in the wave of reform and opening up in the new era, promoting Cantonese opera to enter thousands of households and go to the broader stage of the world.

The documentary is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, supervised by the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, produced by the Red Line Women's Art Center, and jointly produced by Guangdong Radio and Television Station and Guangzhou China Investment Culture Co., Ltd., and carefully polished by Deng Yuan, a national first-class screenwriter and director, and his team for three years. This is the world's first Documentary on Cantonese Opera characters spanning three continents of Asia, Europe and the United States, and it is also the documentary that comprehensively shows Cantonese Opera characters, recreating the magnificent dream life of a generation of Cantonese opera art masters.
V. Sand Painting Propaganda Film "Friendship Road No. 20"
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Red Line Women's Former Residence, the Red Line Women's Art Center launched a sand painting documentary, using a beautiful sand painting art form, showing the flowers and grasses of the Red Line Women's Former Residence, one table and one chair in front of the public, summarizing the achievements made since the opening of the Red Line Women's Former Residence, and showing the artistic image of the Red Line Woman and her descendants with a unique perspective, which will be broadcast regularly in the Red Line Women's Former Residence.
