In order to ensure that the law can better escort the healthy growth of young people, on November 3, the Tongyu Court organized a symposium on juvenile trial work in the Criminal Trial Division, the Civil Trial Division, and the Comprehensive Administrative Trial Division.
At the meeting, the participating judges discussed the characteristics and causes of juvenile delinquency and the particularity of the trial of the case, and discussed the procedural characteristics, effects and significance of the round-table trial.
The meeting decided that the Tongyu Court would conduct round-table trials in cases involving minors. That is, relying on the superior adjudication strength of this court's juvenile court and family court, assemble outstanding judges from criminal trial and administrative trial teams to form a professional trial team, and adopt special procedural procedures suitable for juvenile cases involving juveniles.
Round-table trials will follow the principle of "edutainment in trial, education first, and punishment as a supplement"; at the end of the trial, a ledger of juvenile "criminals" will be established, and after the end of the trial, a ledger of juvenile "criminals" will be established, and juvenile "criminals" will be followed up and managed, and regular return visits will be carried out to grasp the psychological state and reform of juvenile "criminals", and conduct in-depth investigations into the growth experience, criminal reasons, and family conditions of juvenile "criminals", and formulate assistance and education measures for different people so that they can return to society at an early date. For civil or administrative cases involving the protection of minors' rights and interests, their rights and interests are to be protected to the greatest extent in accordance with law.
The Tongyu Court will work together with the Party Working Committee, the Women's Federation, the Communist Youth League and other units to take multiple measures at the same time to actively carry out publicity activities on the prevention of juvenile delinquency and guide the healthy growth of the vast number of young people.
