Jersey Boys is a Broadway musical based on the real experiences of the famous musician Frankie Valli in the 1960s and the rock band The Four Seasons, the whole work is structured in the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the four protagonists explain the growth and change of the band and their musical path from different perspectives, from the formation of the band, hard work, disagreement, disbandment to reunion. "Jersey Boys" was a huge success in 2004, setting a record of 400,000 box office revenue on the same day, and then opened on Broadway, causing another sensation, and later won four Tony Awards, Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, etc., which established the work's position in the theater industry.

As the first China tour of "Jersey Boys", this round of tour has been performed in Shanghai and Guangzhou since November 2017, and at the same time as the premiere in Beijing, "Jersey Boys" also appeared at the CCTV New Year's Eve Party, bringing wonderful clips. It is understood that most of the touring version of the musical in order to reduce the cost of the tour, will choose to use accompaniment instead of live band, but this "Jersey Boys" China tour, the group insists on using live band accompaniment, the full set of audio equipment used for the performance is airlifted from the United Kingdom with the group, stage sound designer Gareth Owen has won 6 times the American Tony Award and the British Lawrence Eliveter Award nomination. During the more than 2-hour performance, the audience was able to hear "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", "December, 1963", "Walk Like A Man" and many other well-known epochal songs. It is reported that "Jersey Boy" will be performed at the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center until January 13.
