As the first China tour of "Jersey Boys", this round of tour has been performed in Shanghai and Guangzhou since November 2017, and at the same time as the premiere in Beijing, "Jersey Boys" also appeared at the CCTV New Year's Eve Party, bringing wonderful clips. It is understood that most of the touring version of the musical in order to reduce the cost of the tour, will choose to use accompaniment instead of live band, but this "Jersey Boys" China tour, the group insists on using live band accompaniment, the full set of audio equipment used for the performance is airlifted from the United Kingdom with the group, stage sound designer Gareth Owen has won 6 times the American Tony Award and the British Lawrence Eliveter Award nomination. During the more than 2-hour performance, the audience was able to hear "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", "December, 1963", "Walk Like A Man" and many other well-known epochal songs. It is reported that "Jersey Boy" will be performed at the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center until January 13.
