"Li Yinhe Says Love" by Li Yinhe
This book, compiled by sociologist Li Yinhe, is based on lectures on the Himalayan platform and presents the results of her decades of research.
She said that from her research and experience, the acquisition of love is not easy, there is an element of luck, but also requires human effort. To get a good love, you also need to understand marriage, family, sex, and gender, because they are closely related to love.
This book will start from the perspective of what is and why, starting from love, and explain in depth the topics related to marriage, family, sex and gender. After understanding what and why, everyone understands how to deal with the problems encountered in their lives.
It mainly includes the following aspects:

A few brief remarks about my takeaways from reading this book:
(1) Through the data, China's single rate is 16%, the single population is 200 million, the divorce rate is 40%, and the big cities are as high as 60%, although the marriage system will not die, but it will gradually diversify. Everyone has the freedom to pursue the life they want to live, everyone does not suppress themselves, and the whole social atmosphere will be more free and inclusive.
(2) Love is becoming more and more equal, discrimination against love is becoming less and less, and the age of gender is decreasing. People who have not yet entered love should not set limits for themselves. In 1990, 70 per cent of chinese marriages were between men and women, 13 per cent of women and 17 per cent of men and women of the same age. By 2010, the number of women and girls had fallen from 70 per cent to 43 per cent, the number of women and girls had grown from 13 per cent to 40 per cent, and the same age was still 17 per cent. 43% and 40%, the difference is very small, 20 years to flatten, has been a huge change.
(3) The fact that both husband and wife can negotiate is conducive to the preservation of marital freshness. Couples' love may be transformed into affection, but if there is an element of friendship in the relationship between husband and wife, the feelings will increase over time, and the couple will increasingly have a common language. (There should be an element of friendship in love, again.) ）
