Zhou Yemang, born in Shanghai in October 1956, his parents are actors, he was influenced by him since childhood, and he aspired to be an actor, but unfortunately he did not inherit his parents' beautiful appearance, and in 1977, he lost his hand with the stage he loved and became a worker, but he did not give up the dream in his heart.
In 1977, Zhou Yemang was finally admitted to the Shanghai Theater Academy without his parents, and his classmates included Chi Chongrui, who played a Tang monk in "Journey to the West", and Sun Chun, a film emperor who is still active on the screen. In 1982, after graduating, Zhou Yemang joined the Shanghai People's Art Theatre.
In the first few years of entering the theater, Zhou Yemang has been running dragon sets. When he first became an actor, he hoped for a good image and painted eyeliner and eyeshadow, but to no avail, and then slowly realized that if an actor only wanted to prove the image forever, he would bind himself.
In 1985, Zhou Yemang, who was the first year of the establishment, began to do dubbing work, and successively participated in the dubbing work of TV series such as "Yang Jia jiang", "Fengshen list", "Yang Naiwu and the little cabbage", "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness", "Shanghainese in Tokyo" and so on.
In 1986, the 31-year-old Zhou Yemang had the opportunity to participate in the suspense drama "Xin Fourteen Niang" directed by Xie Jin as Feng Ziping, officially debuted in the show business circle; in 1988, he co-starred with You Yong in "Ephemeral Dream" as Liu Zhenliang; in 1990, he starred for the first time, playing Chen Youhuang in "Boudoir Love", and Zhang Gang directed Ah Man in the movie "A Man".
The starring film did not make Zhou Yemang popular, he did dubbing work again, in 1993 participated in the filming of the movie "Money Fan Heart", and in 1996, he starred in Chen Kaige's "Wind Moon" as the young master. What really made him famous was Zhang Shaolin's "Water Margin", he played the leopard head Lin Chong, when he was 40 years old, and Water Margin was only broadcast on the screen in 1998.
After becoming famous, Zhou Yemang continued to play, and successively starred in TV series such as "Zhou Enlai in Shanghai", "Men Are Not Difficult to Marry", "The Great Dye Factory", "The Covenant of the Century", "Long Hate Song" and other TV series, and was nominated for the Audience's Favorite Actor Award at the TV Golden Eagle Award.
If you want to talk about Zhou Yemang's main achievement, it is still in drama. In 2004, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award of the "Zuolin Drama Art Award" for the drama "Long Hate Song"; in 2009, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award of the "Zuolin Drama Art Award" again with the drama "Faust"; as the interpretation became more and more mature, in 2014, he finally won the "Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award" for the drama "Chinese Dream".
Zhou Yemang once had a failed marriage, the early stage was the famous actor Xi Meijuan, the two had a son, named Xi Nan, long and handsome.
Zhou Yemang's current wife is Wang Zhixia, who has starred in TV series such as "Qingqing RiverSide Grass", "Crescent Moon Gege", "Big Mansion Gate", "Xueke" and so on, and is known as "Qiong Yao Girl".
