1905 Movie Network News A few days ago, the star-studded Netflix new film "The Trial of the Seven Gentlemen of Chicago" first exposed posters and stills.
Written and directed by Alan Sorkin, the cast is "Oscar-caliber", including: "Little Freckles" Eddie Redmaine, "Joseph" Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Alex Sharp, Sasha Byron Cohen, Jeremy Strong, John Carol Lynch, "Black Manta" Yehya Abdul-Martin II, Mark Reirance, John Dawman and Michael Keaton.
The film revolves around a demonstration at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. What was supposed to be a peaceful campaign turned into a violent clash between the masses and the police and the national militia. The protests were organized by Abby Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Tom Hayden, Babi Hill, and others, who were accused of conspiring to start a riot and subjected to one of the most notorious trials in history.
The film will be released in some theaters in North America this month and will be launched on Netflix on October 16.
