Beijing News (reporter Xia Dan) Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Food and Drug Administration notified that 3 batches of pastries were unqualified, of which 1 batch of "Youkemai" steamed cakes in Fujian Xilaiwang were listed due to the total number of colonies exceeding the standard.

According to the notice, the "Youkemai" brand milk-flavored Muke steamed cake (2017/12/22) produced by Fujian Xilaiwang Food Development Co., Ltd., the total number of colonies detected five times was 2000 CFU/g, 31000 CFU/g, 130000CFU/g, 8700CFU/g, 2800CFU/g, which did not meet the standard requirements of 5 test results not exceeding 10000 CFU/g and at least 3 test results not exceeding 10000 CFU/g.

On April 9, a staff member of the Fujian Xilaiwang Food Quality Control Department told the Beijing News reporter that the above products are mainly pollution caused by transportation, and the products are qualified. The batch of products was sold to Maoming City, Guangdong Province, and has been completely removed from the shelves for recovery.

According to the information on the official website, Xilaiwang Company was established in 2009 and is a professional food enterprise integrating the research and development and production of baked food. In July 2016, the "Youkemai" steamed cake also won the title of "China Star Top Ten Star Products" issued by the Fujian-Taiwan (Quanzhou) Food Trading Organizing Committee.

The notice also shows that the mold detection value of the "Hengjixiang" brand wife cake (2017/12/27, 160 grams/bag) produced by Dongguan Hengjixiang Food Co., Ltd. exceeded the standard by 0.6 times. Nominally produced by Fulong Food Factory in Jinping District, Shantou City, the gold medal ginger potato crisp (2017/11/11, 400 g/bag) has a coliform flora exceeding the standard.

The Food and Drug Administration of Guangdong Province explained that the contamination of raw materials, processing sites, packaging, transportation and other links is the reason for the unqualified total number of colonies. Mold exceeding the standard may be caused by mold contamination of processing raw materials, or improper storage and transportation. Coliform excess may be caused by contamination of processing raw materials and packaging materials of the product, or by the pollution of production equipment and environment such as personnel and tools in the production process, and the incomplete sterilization of the product with sterilization process.
