Zhang Lianfu was born in January 1932 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

He also participated in the Liaoshen Campaign with his troops from September to November 1948, and together with his comrades-in-arms conquered Jinzhou. From December 1948 to January 1949, he participated in the Battle of Pingjin with his troops and witnessed the liberation of Tianjin. Subsequently, the troops moved south. In September 1949, his unit was incorporated into the Middle Route Army, which marched into South China. In the Battle of Hengbao, it was tasked with a frontal attack.
In December 1949, Zhang Lianfu followed the troops into Guangxi and suppressed bandits in the 100,000 Mountains in southwest Guizhou, the 60,000 Mountains in southern Guizhou, and the Darong Mountains. Zhang Lianfu is handsome and is a good young actor. But he always gives the opportunity to play the main role to other actors, and he always plays some roles similar to the dragon running set.
In 1959, he played the role of a heroic and fearless engine deputy in the movie "Sea Eagle" starring Wang Xingang, Wang Xiaotang, Daniel Zhang Hand, Wang Yi, Huang Huanguang and others. But because all the brilliance was stolen by the handsome Wang Xingang, the beautiful Wang Xiaotang and others, almost no one noticed the small role of the engine deputy.
