Recently, Dr. Li Bicheng and others from the Shanghai Museum of Natural History visited the Matou Mountain Conservation Area to conduct bird surveys. During the investigation of the Jurisdiction of the Zheng Family Conservation and Management Station, it was pleasantly surprised to see the rare scene of Lin carvings appearing in pairs above the mountain forest of the reserve, hovering and soaring for a while, and swooping down from the air to catch prey.

Forest carving is nature's top animal, is a biodiversity-rich indicator animal, forest carving in groups soaring over the reserve, fully illustrates the matou mountain reserve ecological environment is superior, rich in biological resources, there is sufficient food. In the past, scenes like this were very difficult to see, in order to let everyone have a comprehensive understanding of forest carving, we will know forest sculpture with xiaobian.

In recent years, the Matoushan Nature Reserve has further promoted the protection of the natural environment, cared for wild animals, and established the concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and wild animals by strengthening protection, continuous patrolling, and increasing education, thus promoting the effective protection of wild animals. Therefore, among the infrared cameras installed in the protected area, black bears, white-necked long-tailed pheasants, brown forest owls, pine sparrowhawks and other first- and second-level wild protected animals in some countries frequently appear, reflecting the remarkable results achieved in nature conservation from one side.
