There are also too many stories about this place, especially about modern warfare. The most famous of these was the Six-Day War, and the Fourth Middle East War.

At the end of the 19th century, the Zionist movement arose and Jews began to emigrate to Palestine in large numbers. After world war I, Britain exercised mandated rule over Palestine. In November 1917, the British issued the Belfort Declaration. On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution establishing an Arab State and a Jewish State in palestine. On May 14, 1948, the State of Israel was formally established by that resolution. Regarding the history of Israel's recent founding, you can Baidu by yourself, and I will not expand in detail here.

Of course, Israel is a Jewish state, but its surroundings are all Arab countries, so on May 14, 1949, just after the declaration of the state of Israel, it was besieged by five surrounding countries. This war is called Israel's War of Independence. After that, it experienced the second Middle East war, the third Middle East war, and the fourth Middle East war.

The Golan Heights are located in northeastern Israel, southwestern Syria, on the east side of the Jordan Valley, 71 km long from north to south, about 43 km wide in the central part, and an area of 1,800 square kilometers (of which Israel controls 1,200 square kilometers, accounting for two-thirds). Occupied by Israel during the Third Middle East War in 1967, the United Nations has set up a buffer zone on the border.

Standing on the Golan Heights, you can see Mount Hermon to the north. The highest peak is 2814 meters above sea level, with snow all year round, and is also the birthplace of the Jordan River. The stream that comes down from the mountain spring first flows into the Sea of Galilee (Lake Grand Bali) to the south, purifies the Lake of Galilee, and then flows south to form a river, the Jordan River, and then to the south, and finally flows into the Dead Sea.

Our group came to Bingtou Mountain, an abandoned fortification base in the Golan Heights, where we could see Mount Hermon in the distance and Syria in the east. There is also a great café next to the base.

The weather in Israel is really good, basically every day is good weather, it is difficult to see rainy days in March, let alone smog days. Share with you the sunset on the return trip:
