Travel with history! I am Yiming!
As everyone knows! Tianjin, located in Bohai Bay, is deeply influenced by Western culture and has been the center of the northern economy since modern times, and there are many European-style bungalows built in the city, which always give people an exotic atmosphere.
But in fact, many people do not know that Tianjin is still a famous historical and cultural city, since the founding of the ming dynasty Zhu Di, it has a history of more than 600 years. A large part of the essence of Tianjin's traditional culture is concentrated on this ancient cultural street.
Located in the northeast corner of Tianjin City, on the west bank of the Haihe River, Ancient Culture Street is the only national 5A-level scenic spot in the city. Centered on the Tianhou Temple, a monument of the Yuan Dynasty, it operates hundreds of long-established shops and is the most traditional Internet celebrity punch card place in Tianjin.
When you come to ancient culture street, the first thing to experience is to eat! Tianjin's three best food dogs ignore buns, eighteenth street twist flowers and ear eye fried cakes, you must try it.
There are also Tianjin locals, who have to eat authentic pancake fruits every morning, and also want to come to a set. One of The Four Western Restaurants in China, Cheeselin, their chocolate is a childhood memory for many people.
Nut Zhang's snack shop is a pack of strange little snacks to buy some to give home to your friends and family. When you are thirsty, go to the net red Zhangjiashui Shop to drink a cup of pear juice or milk tea.
After eating and drinking, visit the Tianhou Temple, the oldest architectural complex in Tianjin. Tianfei Palace, also known as Mazu Temple, is a place dedicated to Mazu, the sea god believed by the people in china's coastal areas.
This Tianhou Temple in Tianjin was built in the third year of Taiding (1326) of the Yuan Dynasty, and has a history of 700 years, decades earlier than the casting of Tianjin City! Therefore, the folk have always had the saying that "there is the Tianhou Temple first, and then there is the Tianjin Wei".
Many people mistakenly think that the Mazu Temple is only available in the southeast coastal area, in fact, tianjin's Tianhou Temple was not only built early, but also very large in scale, it is also known as the world's three major Tianhou Temples together with the Meizhou Ancestral Temple in Fujian and the Chaotian Temple in Beigang, Taiwan.
The entire Tianhou Temple is built facing west and east, facing the Haihe River, including more than a dozen groups of buildings, such as the Mountain Gate, the Archway, the Front Hall, the Bell and Drum Tower, the Main Hall, the Fengwei Hall, the Taiwan Hall, the Bixia Yuanjun Hall, the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, the Yuanchen Hall, the Qisheng Ancestral Hall and the Liangyuan Pavilion. In the square in front of the palace, there are also two large masts and a theater building, which also belong to the Tianhou Temple.
After visiting the Tianhou Temple, we continue to go back to the old street to take a stroll, where there are many antiques and handicrafts, the more famous is Yang Liuqing's New Year paintings and clay sculptures, if you like, buy one to take home.
In addition to these can be taken away, there is also a must-see folklore, that is, cross-talk originating in Tianjin! There are many cross-talk tea houses in the ancient culture street, and you can hear the allegro books allegro all over the street anytime and anywhere in your ears.
One of the most famous is the celebrity tea house that has been open for decades, which is very popular in Tianjin, including Ma Sanli, Yang Shaohua, Guo Degang and other famous cross-talk characters who have performed here, but remember that they only open in the afternoon and evening.
