On April 29, Chinese Shou Dongping Branch Company and Dongping County Women's Federation held a meeting to promote women's health in Dongping County and a mobilization and deployment meeting to implement the "two cancers" insurance pilot project for low-income women of appropriate age in the province. More than 80 people attended the meeting, including Xue Ping, secretary of the party group and chairman of the county women's federation, Ran Ming, manager of the Chinese Shoudongping Branch Company, Li Ruixue, deputy director of the county women's planning center, chairman of the township (street) town and village women's federation, directors of the women's committees of various units directly under the county and representatives of female employees, director of the office of the county women entrepreneurs association, and staff of the group insurance department of the Chinese Shoudongping Branch Company.
Liu Dongmei, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Dongping County Women's Federation, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, the participating leaders issued the "two cancers" insurance donated by the Provincial Women's Federation to 14 townships (streets); Ran Ming arranged this year's provincial low-income school-age women's "two cancers" insurance pilot project and women's health work tasks, and summarized and analyzed the work; Li Ruixue introduced the free screening policy for "two cancers" in 2024; Xue Ping gave important opinions on promoting care, women's health, and implementing the provincial "two cancers" insurance pilot project for low-income school-age women in Dongping County from three aspects: improving ideological understanding, strengthening publicity, and adhering to coordination and linkage, and put forward specific requirements.
She stressed that since the implementation of the women's health project in Dongping County, the "two cancers" insurance project for low-income school-age women, the "women's health project", "two cancers" screening and assistance and other care for women's health work have been solidly promoted, and certain achievements have been made, which have been recognized by the majority of women, but there is still a certain gap with the county's women's expectations for a higher level of health. I hope that while summarizing and promoting the good experience and good practices of last year, we will continue to innovate work measures, strengthen the coordination and linkage between various departments and units, and make concerted efforts to promote the quality and expansion of women's health work, so as to escort more women's health in Dongping County.
At the end of the meeting, in order to further improve everyone's awareness of health protection, promote family health with women's health, be a good practitioner, propagandist and advocate for women's health, and contribute to and set an example for the development of Dongping's health cause, a special lecture on women's health knowledge was held.
