May 12 is the 113th International Nurses Day, and recently, Panyu District Health Management Center (Panyu Rehabilitation Hospital) held the "5.12" International Nurses Day Speech Contest. With the theme of "Returning to the Original Intention and Looking Forward to the Future", 16 contestants from various departments participated in the speech contest after being screened by the Nursing Department and various departments.

Focusing on the theme of the speech, the contestants combined their original intentions, work experience and personal feelings in their chosen majors, and told their touching stories in their work and professional growth from different perspectives, expressing the love of young people for their work, and at the same time showing the firm belief and courage of medical workers in the new era.

After fierce competition, the judges scored fairly according to the contestants' appearance, the content of the speech, the presentation skills and the overall effect. In the end, Zhao Rui of the second rehabilitation ward stood out and won the first prize; Zeng Jingyi of the Department of Health Management Medicine and Li Pingrong of the Second Rehabilitation Ward won the second prize respectively; Xiao Zigui and Li Peiying from the Department of Health Management Medicine, Wang Jiayi from the Central Outpatient Clinic (Adult Vaccination Clinic), and Zhang Minrong from the Second Rehabilitation Ward won the third prize respectively.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all nursing staff and young people, and called on the younger generation to base themselves on their posts, forge ahead, focus on the development of medical and nursing disciplines, continue to promote the action plan to improve nursing services, and improve the experience of medical treatment and patient experience.
