The 2024 FIVB World Women's Volleyball League will have sub-tournaments in Hong Kong and Macau, and the Chinese women's volleyball team will participate in both stations. The 2024 FIVB Women's Volleyball World League Macau will be held at the Galaxy Arena from May 28 to June 2. The Chinese women's volleyball team will face the Netherlands, Japan, Thailand and Italy, while the rest of the teams will be Brazil, the Dominican Republic and France.

The entire World Women's Volleyball League will be held from May 14 to June 23, of which May 14 to June 16 is the preliminary round (sub-tournament), which will be played in six places for three weeks, with Macau and Hong Kong being one of the second and third weeks of the tournament respectively. The top 7 teams in the sub-stage will compete for the championship in Bangkok with Thailand, the host of the finals.
