In Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Wu Wenlong, who is engaged in blueberry research, is inspecting the growth of blueberry seedlings. He told reporters that it initially took three years for a blueberry seedling to be planted in the soil to produce a bumper yield, but now it can be bumper in only one year after being planted in a greenhouse. In addition, blueberries grown in the greenhouse can be marketed at least 15 to 20 days earlier, and the economic benefits will be greatly increased by the early market.

If the water and fertilizer are sufficient, the size of the fruit can basically increase by 30% to 50%. At the same time, the retention of fruit powder is better, and the sugar content can be increased by 2 to 3 points.
China is the world's largest producer of blueberries and the world's largest importer of blueberries. According to statistics, the annual demand for domestic blueberries is about 1 million tons, and there is still a certain gap, and there is still a broad space for the development of domestic blueberries in the future.
Zhou Hui, President of Jiangsu Lishui Blueberry Professional and Technical Association: Our domestic blueberry fresh fruit accounts for about 60% of the market, and I estimate that it will account for about 80% in the next two to three years.
