Recently, a kind of soilless blueberry has appeared in the Shanghai market, which has quickly become popular with its unique taste and high quality, and has won wide favor from consumers. What is unfamiliar to the public is that these popular blueberries actually come from Dongchuan District, Kunming City, an east-west cooperation area in Putuo District, and the company that grows blueberries there is Shanghai Zhongyu Industrial Development Co., Ltd. (later known as Zhongyu Industrial) in Putuo District.
In the modern agricultural industrial park in Dongchuan District, a distant Kunming city, blueberries are fruitful, and more than a dozen workers are carefully picking them in the orchard. "The main varieties planted are L25 and L11, which are relatively large, and the sweetness and crispness are more in line with the taste of the Chinese. In fact, this more than 100 acres of blueberry orchard base that is in the harvest period was only completed and put into operation last year.
"The most important thing in rural revitalization is industrial revitalization. Dongchuan is blessed with unique geographical advantages, no frost all year round, sufficient sunshine, the temperature difference between day and night is suitable for fruit and vegetable planting, and can hang fruit in advance, it is one of the earliest blueberries on the market in the country, which continues to be picked from December to April of the following year. Liu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Dongchuan District Party Committee and deputy head of the district, and a cadre of Putuo District to aid Yunnan, recalled that relying on the east-west cooperation investment platform of Putuo District, some enterprises were looking for a good blueberry planting and production area, so they took the initiative to dock and report Dongchuan's location advantages and natural resources into materials and reported to the enterprise.
Enterprises have needs, Dongchuan has advantages, and cadres from Yunnan have built a "bridge" for cooperation between the two sides.
"At that time, the company chose Dongchuan because of the climate here, which could complement our blueberry base in the north in terms of time difference. Gu Guoqiang said that this year is the 'first year' of blueberry trees, and it is still in the yield ramp-up period, which can produce 0.8-1 kg at this stage, and is expected to reach 3-4 kg/tree next year, and 5 kg/tree in the third year.
In April 2023, Zhongyu Industrial will visit Dongchuan, register in May, and invest and put into operation in July. Only two months after the two sides reached the cooperation intention, the first blueberry seed was sown in the industrial park, and this small blue fruit will also become the "rich fruit" of rural revitalization. According to reports, a local farmer who picks blueberries here can get at least 100 yuan a day.
The landing of the blueberry planting industry and selling to the national market is a microcosm of the cadres of Putuo District to aid Yunnan to actively meet the local development needs and inject new vitality into rural revitalization through the introduction of various industrial projects.
In March this year, Dongchuan District successfully held the "Mountains and Seas Connection, Industrial Synergy" Xiaojiang Dry-Hot Valley Characteristic Agricultural Industrial Park Investment Promotion Conference in Putuo District, and released the "Planning of Xiaojiang Dry-Hot Valley Characteristic Agricultural Industrial Park in Dongchuan District". At the scene, 19 projects were signed, including Dongchuan Chunhe Smart Agriculture Industrial Park, Modern Blueberry Industrial Park and Flower Sea Demonstration Base, including facility agriculture, animal husbandry processing, cultural tourism, cold chain logistics, e-commerce, smart operation and other fields, with a total investment of 1.392 billion yuan.
"Relying on the east-west cooperation mechanism, Dongchuan District has actively built a platform for investment promotion and cooperation with Putuo District, focusing on Xiaojiang Characteristic Agricultural Industrial Park to carry out precise investment promotion. Liu Jun introduced.
"The cadres who aid Yunnan are most concerned about industrial revitalization and must do everything possible to help local farmers 'money bags' bulge. In 2023, Putuo District invested real money to implement 8 assistance and cooperation projects in Dongchuan District, and at present, these projects have all been completed on schedule and with high quality and all have been put into production. This includes jointly building the "Shanghai Platform", further deepening exchanges and cooperation with governments, chambers of commerce and enterprises in the eastern region, and opening up new channels for attracting investment. In 2023, more than 70,000 people will benefit from the assistance and cooperation projects built by Putuo District in Dongchuan District, connect the "Shanghai market", continue to promote the "cloud products into Shanghai", and launch the brand of Dongchuan agricultural products, learn from Shanghai technology, deepen talent cooperation and exchanges, and jointly carry out the "three hundred" talent cultivation project, igniting the "acceleration engine" of rural revitalization.
