The reporter saw that several fruit farmers were skillfully selecting blueberries with high maturity, gently putting them into the sub-packing box, and then the baskets of blueberries were transported to the packaging workshop, where they were sorted and weighed twice, and then packed and sealed.
"Blueberries are generally divided into 15 to 18 mm, 18 to 22 mm and above 22 mm, with different prices. Xia Lei, technical director of Shanghai Huilan Agriculture Co., Ltd., told reporters that the base mainly grows two blueberry varieties of "Mingyue" and "H5", which are large fruits with high sweetness and are more popular with the public.
I saw Xia Lei randomly select a few blueberries, take them out and measure them with professional calipers, and most of the single blueberries are between 22 and 26 mm in diameter, which is larger than a 1 yuan coin, and the first stubble fruit can even reach more than 30 mm.
According to reports, this year, the planting base has upgraded the facility greenhouses to ensure the blueberry growth environment through temperature control and integrated management of water and fertilizer. Recently, the daily production of blueberries has stabilized at 500-1000 kg, and the supply can be continued until June.
During the "May Day" holiday, the base launched a single blueberry picking and eating activity of 99 yuan for the first time, and children over 80 cm tall need to buy tickets, and the price of taking away blueberries is 160 yuan per kilogram.
