Li Jiaxin told us that this year the farm will add 5,000 blueberry plants, in addition to the installation of water and fertilizer automatic integrated drip irrigation system, will also use a substrate composed of peat, coconut peat, perlite and other materials to plant blueberry seedlings in pots.
"Compared with conventional blueberries, the yield of new technology is about two to three times higher. With the 5,000 new blueberries added this year, it is expected that the yield of each tree next year will be 1 to 1.5 kilograms, and a total of about 15,000 kilograms of blueberries can be picked. After the addition of 5,000 blueberries, the blueberry planting area of Jinghu Blueberry Farm will reach more than 60 acres, including four varieties of jewelry, legsie, emerald, and eureka, and the blueberry trees that have borne fruit will enter the picking period in May. It is expected that this year's output will be 3,000 to 5,000 catties, and after adopting new technologies, the output will increase by two to three times next year, and the output value will reach about 800,000 yuan.
