Reminder notice of advertising business activities

All advertising agents and publishers in the city:

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. In order to create a clean and upright advertising market environment, the Yingde Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau reminds the city's advertising agents and publishers to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions on "advertising and publicity should also be oriented", and put the correct political direction, public opinion orientation and value orientation in the first place, and strictly perform the main responsibility, strengthen advertising review, adhere to the correct political orientation, and consciously abide by the "Advertising Law of the People's Republic of China" in the process of advertising planning, design, production, operation, agency, and release and other laws and regulations, conscientiously resist and put an end to all kinds of illegal publicity acts such as illegal advertisements, and must not have the following circumstances:

1. It is strictly forbidden to conduct commercial speculation in the name of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is strictly forbidden to use or covertly use the flag and emblem of the Communist Party of China, the symbols and logos of major celebrations of the Party and the government, publicity reports on celebrations, speeches by leaders, and so forth for commercial speculation, including illegal acts of taking the opportunity to market and publicize all kinds of prohibited "medals", "medals", "commemorative medals", and forged "commemorative coins", "commemorative banknotes", "commemorative stamps" and other items.

2. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, publish, use, or covertly use commercial advertisements that use the national flag, national emblem, national anthem, military flag, emblem, or military song of the People's Republic of China;

3. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing that harm the dignity or interests of the state, divulge state secrets, or use non-standard maps of China.

4. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing promotions that impede social stability or harm the public interest.

5. It is strictly prohibited to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing promotions that harm minors' physical and psychological health. Advertisements for goods or services for minors under the age of 14 must not contain content that induces them to ask their parents to purchase the advertised goods or services, or that might cause them to imitate unsafe behavior.

6. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing promotions containing obscene, pornographic, gambling, superstitious, terrorist, or violent content.

7. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish illegal advertisements and commercial marketing promotions that contain vulgar vulgarity and kitsch that impede social public order or violate good social customs, such as spoofing classics, vulgar marketing, hurting national feelings, or challenging public order and good customs.

8. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing promotions that contain ethnic, racial, religious, gender, regional, occupational, or other discriminatory content, as well as content that harms the physical and mental health of persons with disabilities.

9. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing that impede the protection of the environment, natural resources, or cultural heritage.

10. It is strictly forbidden to use or covertly use the logos of the Communist Youth League, the Young Pioneers, the Women's Federation, the Trade Union, the Disabled Persons' Federation, the Red Cross, and other organizations in the design, production, or publication of advertisements and commercial marketing promotions.

11. It is strictly forbidden to design, produce, or publish advertisements and commercial marketing propaganda that contain other violations of the Core Socialist Values, the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and the requirements for the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.

Market entities engaged in advertising business activities throughout the city shall comply with relevant state laws, regulations, and relevant provisions, be honest and trustworthy, and operate in accordance with law. The Yingde Municipal Administration for Market Regulation will intensify advertising monitoring and supervision, and severely crack down on illegal advertising and publicity. The market regulation departments will investigate and deal with conduct such as advertising business units failing to perform their review responsibilities and producing advertising banners that impede social stability.
