Despite this, Liverpool remain the second-highest scoring team in the Premier League this season (72, behind Arsenal with 75). --Looking at Klopp's nine Premier League seasons at Liverpool, Liverpool are averaging 20.3 shots per game so far this season, more than any previous season. The previous record was 19.2 shots per game in the 2021-22 season.

-- In the 2018-19 season and the championship-winning 2019-20 season, Liverpool averaged the lowest shots per game in the two seasons of the Scum era, at 15.1 and 15.6 respectively. --Since Liverpool have struggled to find one win in seven Premier League meetings with Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United this season (five draws, two defeats), two goals against Manchester City 27 with a goal conversion rate of 7.4 per cent, two goals against Arsenal 23 with a goal conversion rate of 8.7 per cent, one goal against Tottenham Hotspur 12 with a goal conversion rate of 8.3 per cent, and two goals against Manchester United 62 with a goal conversion rate of 3.2 per cent, both below Liverpool's season average (11.5 per cent). Of those seven goals, two came from penalties.
