SHUTING QIU continues the inspiration of the brand's latest runway, bringing the fusion of nature and art to afternoon tea and home lifestyle designs. Designer Ju Shuk Ting shared with Café Gray Deluxe that her fascination with nature and flowers stems from her creations. For the Fall/Winter 2024 collection, SHUTING QIU draws inspiration from Vietnamese artist Le Pho's oil paintings and traditional Vietnamese costumes, and conceals the delicate and unique understanding of nature and emotions like artist Le Pho in the details of clothing, once again demonstrating the brand's integration of fashion, nature and art, and further exploring the aesthetic fusion of East and West. Café Gray Deluxe incorporates SHUTING QIU's inspiration into the design and creation of Afternoon Tea, which perfectly presents the harmonious blend of nature and flowers, Asia and West in terms of vision and taste.
In addition to a delicious afternoon tea until 30 April 2024, guests can enjoy the unique aesthetic of SHUTING QIU in the lounge area of Café GrayDeluxe, which includes exquisite sofa pillows, cushions, paper boxes and coasters. SHUTING QIU USES PRINTS AND SUSTAINABLE FABRICS FROM THE LATEST SEASON, AND THE COLORS RANGE FROM SOFT PALE SHADES TO VIVID REDS TO DEEP BLUES. Elements such as abstract flower combinations and composite square trunc patterns are taken from the traditional Vietnamese Hmong (Hmong ethnic group) and reinterpreted into the collection's design, showcasing the beauty of modernity and tradition.
SHUTING QIU'S UNDERSTANDING AND COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY MAKES THIS THEMED AFTERNOON TEA EVENT A REFLECTION ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE. On the one hand, SHUTING QIU reduces resource waste by utilizing stock fabrics and yarns, and innovatively transforms these stock materials into delicate tissue boxes, comfortable cushions, and tea coasters and other household items, which not only reduces the need for new raw materials, reduces environmental impact, but also improves the efficiency of the use of existing materials. On the other hand, SHUTING QIU has partnered with an Italian eco-friendly fabric company to use fabrics made from recycled polyester extracted from recycled plastic bottles, a move that directly reduces the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment.
