On April 25, the 18th Beijing International Auto Show in 2024 officially kicked off, and many domestic and foreign car companies participated in the auto show. During the Beijing Auto Show, including independent brands, joint venture brands and overseas car companies, their blockbuster models or new concept cars were unveiled and listed, showing the strong strength and muscles of the car companies to the outside world.

During this year's Beijing Auto Show, Dongfeng Fengshen officially launched its first plug-in hybrid model and China's first intelligent hybrid SUV Fengshen L7 with a measured ultra-long range of 2,000km, with a total of 5 models and a price range of 128,900 yuan to 156,900 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the front grille of Fengshen L7 adopts the current mainstream closed grille design, and the daytime running lights of the through-type design connect the sharp and narrow headlight groups on the left and right sides, which is very visually impactful, and the night lighting has a high degree of recognition.

On the side of the body, the roof of the new car adopts a suspended design, and the overall design adopts the current mainstream fastback styling, which is very avant-garde and fashionable. In terms of body size, the Fengshen 7 is positioned as a compact SUV, with a length, width and height of 4685x1900x1625mm and a wheelbase of 2775mm.

In terms of interior, the design style of Fengshen L7 tends to be simple and full of science and technology, equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch LCD central control screen, and the new car is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 intelligent cockpit chip, with WindLink OS 3.0 intelligent car machine system, which can achieve millisecond speed of human-vehicle voice interaction and software use.

In terms of power performance, the Dongfeng Fengshen L7 is equipped with a new generation of Mach electric hybrid PHREV hybrid technology. According to the car, the Mach electric hybrid PHREV adopts the industry's first hybrid configuration, realizes the integration of power shunt and multi-gear series-parallel connection, has 7 major energy management modes, 26 subdivision working modes, system efficiency of 93%, and engine efficiency area utilization rate of 95%.

This hybrid powertrain is composed of a 1.5T turbocharged engine + electric motor, with a maximum power of 265kW and a maximum torque of 615Nm, of which the maximum thermal efficiency of the engine is 45.08%. In the case of feeding, the fuel consumption of Fengshen L7 is 3.8L/100km per 100km. In terms of transmission, Fengshen L7 is matched with an ECVT continuously variable transmission.

In terms of battery and range, the Fengshen L7 is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries with a battery capacity of 17.0 kWh and 30.3 kWh depending on the configuration, and the pure electric range is 110 km and 205 km in CLTC mode. When fully fueled and fully charged, the Fengshen L7 has a range of 1400km and 1500km in CLTC mode.

It is worth mentioning that in the recent mileage measurement, the official calibration of pure electric range of 205km Dongfeng Fengshen L7, pure electric range record exceeded 320km, the highest range achievement rate of 156%; last week, a number of media drove Fengshen L7 from Yunnan to Wuhan, most of the road conditions throughout the journey were high-speed, Fengshen L7 measured comprehensive range of up to 2054km, becoming China's first hybrid SUV to break through 2000km ultra-long endurance.

With the arrival of Fengshen L7, it will further enrich Dongfeng Fengshen's product matrix in the new energy vehicle market, while providing consumers with more choices.
