Calligraphy is also good, and he likes seal writing in his later years. He is proficient in ancient Chinese dictionaries, researches "Cursed Chu Wen", "Stone Drum Wen", "Zhong Ding Wen", etc., explains the research experience, and corrects the errors of the text.
In the fourth year of Jiaxi Dynasty (1240), he made a volume of "Pounding Clothes", on paper, ink pen, 27.1 cm in length and 266.4 cm in width, depicting the poetry of Xie Huilian, a native of the Southern Qi Dynasty, pounding clothes and remembering the great expedition. In the painting, the courtyard is deep in autumn, the leaves of the high acacia fall, the scene is bleak, and the labor scene of 32 women pounding, tailoring, and sewing clothes is vivid. This picture was once collected by Dong Shiliang, Gao Shiqi, Anqi and Qing Neifu, and is now in the National Palace Museum in Taipei.

A calf follows the big cow in front of him, and the picture is vivid and lively. The shape of the cow in the painting is accurate, the image is vivid, and the brushwork is simple and straightforward. This piece has the imperial inscription poem of the Qing Dynasty emperor Qianlong, and there is an inscription of nine people such as Fan Xiang. It is now in the collection of the Palace Museum in Beijing.
