As a result, for quite some time in the past, the market price of Toyota Prado has been very strong, whether it is a used car or a new car. It's hard to imagine that even the "beggar" version of the model equipped with a 2.7L engine will have to increase the price by tens of thousands.

At present, the domestic off-road vehicle market is becoming more and more popular, and the domestic Prado, which has been discontinued in 2020, has finally launched a new domestic version of the model recently.

On the eve of the opening of the Beijing Auto Show, the all-new FAW Toyota Prado was officially launched, with the price range of 459,800~549,800 yuan for the four models.

Like the new Lexus GX, the car is based on Toyota's TNGA-F platform. Compared to the old model, the new Toyota Prado looks more retro in terms of exterior design. The square "square box" shape design not only adds some hard-core temperament, but also caters to the aesthetic standards of domestic consumers for hard-core off-road vehicles.

But unlike domestic off-road vehicles such as the Tank 300, the new Toyota Prado I didn't design and didn't use a casement approach, nor did it have the iconic external schoolbag of the off-road vehicle. However, fortunately, the rear tailgate glass of the new Toyota Prado's top-of-the-line model can be opened separately. The new car is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV with a length, width and height of 4925/1940/1910 mm and a wheelbase of 2850 mm.

The interior design, the new Prado is also modest, with two colors: beige and black. Except for the entry-level model, the other three models are equipped with a large 12.3-inch central control screen.

In addition, except for the top-of-the-line model, which is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster, all three models are equipped with a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster.

L2 level assisted driving, adaptive high and low beams, wireless mobile phone charging, active noise cancellation, automatic air conditioning, central Torsen differential, and low-speed four-wheel drive are standard on all models.

Features and features such as a head-up display, a 540-degree transparent chassis, steering wheel memory and heating, automatic lane change, rear axle differential lock, creep mode, induction wipers, and roof rack are only available on the top-of-the-line model.

In terms of power, all models are equipped with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and a diesel-electric hybrid system, mated to an 8-speed automatic manual transmission. It has a maximum power of 243 kW and a maximum torque of 630 Nm.

There is no doubt that in terms of the configuration and price of the new domestic Prado, compared with the Formula Leopard Leopard 5, Tank 500 plug-in hybrid models and Tank 700, these domestic hard-core off-road vehicles, in addition to brand influence, there is basically no advantage at all.

The most important thing is that the price of the new Prado in Japan is equivalent to 244,000 yuan, and the starting price in China is nearly 460,000 yuan.

Times are different, and domestic off-road vehicles have risen.
