On the afternoon of April 25, under the guidance of the Huangpu District Federation of Trade Unions, hosted by Wuliqiao Street, and jointly organized by the Wuliqiao Street Federation of Trade Unions, Wuliqiao Street New Era Civilization Practice Sub-center, Jiangnan Intelligent Manufacturing Park Trade Union Federation, and No. 8 Bridge Park New Union Association, the 2024 Wuliqiao Street Design Industry Skills Competition was held in No. 8 Bridge Cultural and Creative Park.
The relevant person in charge of the Wuliqiao Street Federation of Trade Unions expressed his sincere gratitude to all the designers who actively participated in the competition, saying that grassroots governance requires the concerted efforts of multiple forces, and looks forward to more excellent works landing in the community and serving residents in the future, so as to continuously inject new vitality into the construction of "Hemei Wuli and Innovation Beach".
The competition focused on the theme of "Binjiang Major Event Service Booth", and 21 designers from various design companies in the park participated in the competition. After the preliminary evaluation of the competition, 7 design plans of 5 designers entered the final evaluation process. "Highlight the regional theme of Litan and integrate the design of traditional Chinese culture", "Design the post style with the theme of the city flower magnolia", "Considering the practicability of the sentry box, it can be transformed into a 'citizen rest area' during the non-service period, and it has the characteristics of serving the people......" At the finals, 5 designers came to the stage one after another to show their designs, their works have their own characteristics, different emphases, some are biased towards color, some focus on practical functions, and some pursue artistic operation and maintenance, each designer's display has made the audience appreciate the charm and creativity of design.
Huang Zheng, senior design director of Shanghai Yijian Architects, who participated in the design of Bilibili's Shanghai headquarters, Shanghai Free Trade Zone, Lingang New Area, financial headquarters, Bay Area, etc., was invited to make expert comments. Director Huang pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the entries one by one, and put forward professional opinions and suggestions on the improvement and implementation of the design works, which benefited the contestants a lot. At the same time, in order to ensure the fairness, impartiality and openness of the judging work, the organizers of the event also invited 12 public judges to participate in the on-site voting, and the public judges voted for the best works in their minds in turn according to the scoring criteria of "functionality, practicality, theme, and aesthetics".
At the end of the event, in the comprehensive professional judges and the public evaluation results, the designers from the No. 8 Bridge Cultural and Creative Park, Shentu Linglin's work "Litan Intelligent Manufacturing", Zhu Hongli's work "Volunteer Care", and Chen Zhenning's work "Modular Design" won the first, second and third prizes of the competition respectively. Zhou Ke, the project leader of the No. 8 Bridge Cultural and Creative Park, presented the competition rewards to the first prize winners on the spot.
