Wu Weiren introduced that the international lunar scientific research station will be implemented in two stages, the first step is the basic construction stage, before 2035, with the south pole of the moon as the core, to build a comprehensive scientific facility with basically complete functions and basic supporting elements. The second step is the expansion construction stage, by 2045, with the lunar orbit station as the hub, the equipment and facilities with complete functions, considerable scale and stable operation will be built.
