On February 4th, under the support and guidance of the Suzhou Civic Artists Association and the Office of the Party Working Committee of the Western Suzhou Ecotourism Resort (Zhenhu Street), the "Xianglong Welcomes the New Year and Embroiders the Style" Suzhou Civic Artists Association "Culture Moistens the People" Spring Festival Couplets Activity, the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Weaving and Embroidery Professional Committee of the Suzhou Civic Artists Association and the 2023 Annual Summary Conference of the Zhenhu Embroidery Association of Suzhou High-tech Zone were jointly held in Zhenhu Suzhou Embroidery Town.
Ye Zhengting, Honorary Chairman of Suzhou Civil Artists Association, Chairman Huainian, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General Wu Yuechen, Vice Chairman Zou Yingzi, Deputy Secretary-General Huang Rong, Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial People's Association, Chairman of Suzhou Civil Artists Association Weaving and Embroidery Committee, Suzhou High-tech Zone Zhenhu Embroidery Association President Yao Jianping and other leaders of the Association attended the conference. The main leaders and leaders in charge of Suzhou Western Ecotourism Resort (Zhenhu Street) were invited to attend the conference and deliver speeches.
During the event, the Suzhou Civil Artists Association organized teachers to splash ink and write Spring Festival couplets for the artists in the weaving and embroidery industry, and the scene was filled with a strong New Year flavor.
The conference reviewed and approved the 2023 annual work report of the Zhenhu Embroidery Association of Suzhou High-tech Zone made by President Yao Jianping and the 2023 annual financial report made by Vice President Liang Xuefang. Yue Yan, Ma Yihong, Lv Xiaoyi and other 8 annual outstanding volunteers, Suzhou Lu Fuying Embroidery Culture Co., Ltd., Zhenhu Chen Hongying Embroidery Studio of Suzhou High-tech Zone, Suzhou High-tech Zone Nuoyi Qinyun Cultural Industry Co., Ltd. and other 8 annual outstanding member units and Wang Lihua, Zhou Haiyun, Li Wenbo 3 annual advanced individuals were commended at the conference.
Ye Zhengting, honorary chairman of the Suzhou Civil Artists Association, delivered a speech at the conference. Chairman Ye Zhengting summarized the three aspects of "digging deep wells", "melting the times" and "embracing hundreds of rivers" for the literary and artistic creation of weaving and embroidery. The chairman of the Suzhou Civil Artists Association fully affirmed the work of the Weaving and Embroidery Committee of the Suzhou Civil Artists Association at the conference, and hoped that the Weaving and Embroidery Committee would continue to grow and promote the common development of various weaving and embroidery categories.
