Wuputt said that Tashkent State Agricultural University and Hydraulic and Agricultural Mechanical Engineering University of Uzbekistan are the permanent member units of the Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance initiated by Northwest A&F University, under the framework of the alliance, Northwest A&F University actively promotes pragmatic cooperation with the two universities, builds a water-saving irrigation agricultural science and technology demonstration park and smart agriculture classroom in China and Uzbekistan, is approved for international cooperation projects between China and Uzbekistan, jointly builds Tashkent Chinese Education and Research Center, and signs the "Belt and Road" in the arid areas of China and Central Asia The joint laboratory construction agreement has achieved remarkable results in scientific research, technology promotion, and personnel training.
Ibrohim Abdurrahmonov said that he will actively support the construction of the Tashkent branch of Northwest A&F University and the "Belt and Road" joint laboratory, and hopes that the university can further strengthen the training of talents for Uzbekistan, scientific research cooperation and high-level agricultural technicians.
The framework agreement on cooperation in the construction of the Tashkent branch of Northwest A&F University mainly involves agricultural economic management, water-saving irrigation, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, crop breeding and other majors, and the training level covers undergraduate and graduate students.
