Notice on the solicitation of exhibitors at the 2024 China Seed (South Silicon Valley) Conference Dongyang Fresh Corn Seed Industry Exhibition

All relevant seed enterprises, scientific research units and member units:

Hosted by the China Seed Association and relevant departments, and undertaken by the Fresh Corn Branch of the China Seed Association, the Corn Professional Committee of the Crop Science Society of China and the Zhejiang Seed Management Station, the 2024 China Seed (South Silicon Valley) Conference Dongyang Fresh Corn Seed Industry Exhibition will be held in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province in late June 2024. Now the nationwide collection of fresh corn demonstration varieties. All relevant units are sincerely invited to participate in the conference activities and provide excellent varieties of fresh corn. The specific notice is as follows:

1. Scope of solicitation: fresh sweet corn, waxy corn, sweet and waxy corn varieties.

2. Exhibition location: Maize and Characteristic Dry Grain Research Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province) Base.

3. Planting management: sowing in stages according to the growth period of the displayed varieties, using factory centralized seedling raising and transplanting, and planting a single hole and single plant to ensure the whole seedling. The exhibited varieties are numbered, and the whole growth period is unified planting specifications, unified technical management, unified investigation, and unified yield measurement. If there are special requirements for planting varieties, please indicate them when submitting seeds to ensure that they meet the normal yield measurement and tasting requirements during observation.

4. Solicitation receipt: Please send the variety solicitation form (see attachment) and brief cultivation technology to Wu Zhenxing, the conference staff (email: [email protected]).

5. Time and quantity of seed submission:

Exhibitors are required to submit their seeds before March 5, 2024 (please attach the solicitation form with the seeds).

Number of seeds submitted: 0.6 kg for sweet corn varieties, 1 kg for waxy corn varieties, and 1 kg for sweet waxy corn varieties.
