The multi-section dynamic waistline, combined with the special bulge of the side skirts, makes the vehicle more three-dimensional, and the new shape of the five-spoke wheels also has a new visual sense.
At the rear, the main modification is the tail light cluster, with an impressive polygonal tail light profile that is lit up with a red curved light strip and a four-point color block. The rear bumper has a number of prominent horizontal lines that echo the roof spoiler, complemented by reflectors with red stripes on a black background.
The changes to the interior are much more restrained, mainly to increase the size of the floating central control screen, which has been revised to a 12.3-inch wide screen, and the knob buttons on both sides have also been eliminated.
At the same time, the full LCD instrument cluster and the three-spoke flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel are not absent. The Nakashima area is designed with a rather elaborate electronic gear lever and a specially textured metal trim around the perimeter. In addition, the passenger counter, armrest box, door panels and other areas are covered with a lot of suede materials, plus the embellishment of ambient light strips, showing a very sporty atmosphere.
In terms of powertrain, the European market will continue to offer a 1.3-liter mild-hybrid version and a 1.5-liter e-Power version. For reference, the current Dongfeng Nissan Qashqai model in China is equipped with a 1.3T or 2.0L engine, the former has a maximum power of 116 kilowatts, and the latter has a maximum power of 111 kilowatts, and the transmission system is matched with a CVT continuously variable transmission.
